Isaiah 44:9

All who make carved idols are nothing. Their precious objects are worthless [to them], and their own witnesses (worshipers) fail to see or know, so that they will be put to shame.

They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.

Those who fashion [g]a graven image are all of them futile, and their precious things are of no profit; even their own witnesses fail to see or know, so that they will be put to shame.

Those who make statues of gods don’t amount to anything. And the statues they think so much of are worthless.Those who would speak up for them are blind. They don’t know anything. So they will be put to shame.

How foolish are those who manufacture idols. These prized objects are really worthless.The people who worship idols don’t know this, so they are all put to shame.

كُلُّ صَانِعِي التَّمَاثِيلِ لَا جَدْوَى مِنْهُمْ، وَمُشْتَهَيَاتُهُمْ لَا طَائِلَ مِنْهَا. وَهُمْ شُهُودٌ عَلَيْهَا أَنَّهَا لَا تُبْصِرُ وَلا تَعْلَمُ لِكَيْ يَخْزَوْا.

Hvor er det tåbeligt at lave afgudsbilleder! De kære guder gavner jo intet. De, som dyrker dem, må med skam erkende, at deres guder intet kan se og intet ved.

»Ohnmächtige Menschen sind sie alle, die sich Götterfiguren anfertigen! Ihre Götzen, die sie mit solcher Hingabe verehren – auch sie sind machtlos! Wer für sie eintritt, beweist damit nur, wie dumm und blind er doch ist. Auf ihn wartet ein böses Erwachen!

Ceux qui fabriquent des idoles |ne sont tous que néant,et ces œuvres qui leur sont chères |ne sont d’aucun profit.Leurs témoins ne voient rienet ils ne savent rien ;ils connaîtront la honte.

Wala sing pulos ang tanan nga nagahimo sang mga dios-dios. Kag ining mga dios-dios nga ila ginapakamahal wala sing bili. Sila mismo makapamatuod nga wala ini sing bili. Kay indi ini makakita kag wala sing may nahibaluan. Amo gani nga nagakahuy-an ang mga nagasimba sini.

偶像を造り、それを神にするとは、なんと浅はかな者でしょう。そんな者たちの希望はむなしい夢にすぎません。見ることも知ることもできない偶像を頼みにしているのですから。そんな偶像を拝む者が恥を見るのは当然です。

우상을 만드는 자들은 다 어리석고 그들이 소중히 여기는 신들도 무익하니 우상을 만든 그들이 바로 이것에 대한 증인이다. 그러므로 우상을 섬기는 눈멀고 무식한 자들이 수치를 당할 것이다.

Wat zijn zij die beelden als hun goden vereren toch dom! Hun hoop blijft onbeantwoord. Zij zijn er zelf getuige van dat dit zo is, want hun beelden zien en horen niets. Geen wonder dat zij die die beelden aanbidden, zo beschaamd zijn.

Todos os que fazem imagens nada são, e as coisas que estimam são sem valor.As suas testemunhas nada vêem e nada sabem,para que sejam envergonhados.

Como são loucos os que fabricam ídolos para lhes servir de deuses! As suas petições ficam sem resposta. Eles próprios são testemunhas de como é mesmo assim, porque os seus ídolos não veem nem conhecem. Não admira que quem os adora fique tão envergonhado.

Toţi cei ce fac idoli sunt nimic, iar lucrurile de care se bucură nu le sunt de vreun folos.Cei ce ar trebui să-i apere nu văd, nu cunosc şi, astfel, vor fi făcuţi de ruşine.

De som bygger avgudar åt sig är ingenting. Deras älskade beläten har ingen hjälp att ge. Deras vittnen ser inget och vet inget, de får stå där med skam.

บรรดาผู้ที่ทำรูปเคารพก็ไร้ค่าสิ่งต่างๆ ที่เขาเทิดทูนก็เปล่าประโยชน์บรรดาผู้ออกรับแทนพวกเขาก็ตาบอดพวกเขาโง่เง่าและต้องอับอาย

制造偶像的真是无用，他们珍爱的偶像毫无价值。拜神像的人目盲眼瞎，愚昧无知，自找羞辱。

制 造 雕 刻 偶 像 的 尽 都 虚 空 ； 他 们 所 喜 悦 的 都 无 益 处 ； 他 们 的 见 证 无 所 看 见 ， 无 所 知 晓 ， 他 们 便 觉 羞 愧 。

製造偶像的真是無用，他們珍愛的偶像毫無價值。拜神像的人目盲眼瞎，愚昧無知，自找羞辱。
