Isaiah 44:18

They do not know, nor do they understand, for God has muddied their eyes so that they cannot see, and their hearts (minds) as well so that they cannot understand.

They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

People like that don’t even know what they are doing. Their eyes are shut so that they can’t see the truth. Their minds are closed so that they can’t understand it.

They know nothing, they understand nothing; their eyes are plastered over so they cannot see, and their minds closed so they cannot understand.

Such stupidity and ignorance! Their eyes are closed, and they cannot see. Their minds are shut, and they cannot think.

إِنَّهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ وَلا يُدْرِكُونَ، إِذْ غُشِيَ عَلَى عُيُونِهِمْ فَلا يُبْصِرُونَ، وَأُغْلِقَ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَلا يَفْهَمُونَ.

De fatter intet. Deres øjne er lukket til, så de ikke kan se. De er så tykhovedede, at intet trænger ind!

Welche Verblendung, welche Unwissenheit! Die Augen dieser Götzendiener sind verklebt, sie sehen nichts! Ihr Herz ist abgestumpft, sie verstehen nichts!

Ini nga mga tawo wala makahibalo ukon makaintiendi sa ila ginahimo. Ang ila mga mata natabunan kag indi sila makakita. Ang ila mga hunahuna natakpan, kag indi sila makaintiendi.

こんな愚かなことがあっていいのでしょうか。神は、見えないようにと彼らの目をふさぎ、理解できないようにと心を鈍くしました。

그와 같은 사람들은 어리석고 무식하여 자기들이 하는 짓을 깨닫지 못하며 진리에 대한 눈과 마음이 어두워져 있다.

Waanzin is het! God heeft hun ogen gesloten zodat zij niets kunnen zien en heeft hun verstand afgestompt, zodat zij niets begrijpen.

Eles nada sabem, nada entendem; seus olhos estão tapados,não conseguem ver, e suas mentes estão fechadas,não conseguem entender.

Tanta ignorância e estupidez! Têm olhos para ver, mas não veem e os seus corações não conseguem compreender.

Ei nu cunosc, nici nu înţeleg, căci ochii le sunt acoperiţi ca să nu poată vedea, iar minţile – întunecate, ca să nu poată lua aminte.

Такие люди ничего не знают и ничего не понимают; они не видят, потому что их глаза застило, их умы закрыты – они не могут понять.

Dessa vet ingenting, förstår ingenting, deras ögon är tillslutna så att de inte kan se, liksom deras sinnen så att de inte kan fatta.

พวกเขาไม่รู้ประสีประสา ไม่เข้าใจอะไรตาของเขาถูกปิดจึงมองไม่เห็นใจของเขาก็ถูกบังจึงไม่อาจเข้าใจ

他们愚昧无知，因为眼睛被封住以致看不见，心窍被塞住以致不明白。

他 们 不 知 道 ， 也 不 思 想 ； 因 为 耶 和 华 闭 住 他 们 的 眼 ， 不 能 看 见 ， 塞 住 他 们 的 心 ， 不 能 明 白 。

他們愚昧無知，因為眼睛被封住以致看不見，心竅被塞住以致不明白。
