Isaiah 41:25

“I have stirred up and put into action [d]one from the north [the king of Persia, Cyrus the Great], and he has come;From the rising of the sun he will call on My Name [in prayer].And he will trample on [the Babylonian] officials as on mortar,Even as a potter treads clay.”

I have raised up one from the north, and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon princes as upon morter, and as the potter treadeth clay.

“I have aroused one from the north, and he has come;From the rising of the sun he will call on My name;And he will come upon rulers as upon mortar,Even as the potter treads clay.”

“I have stirred up a king who will come from the north.He lives in the east. He will bring honor to me.He walks all over rulers as if they were mud. He steps on them just as a potter stomps on clay.

“I have stirred up one from the north, and he comes— one from the rising sun who calls on my name.He treads on rulers as if they were mortar, as if he were a potter treading the clay.

“But I have stirred up a leader who will approach from the north. From the east he will call on my name.I will give him victory over kings and princes. He will trample them as a potter treads on clay.

قَدْ آثَرْتُ رَجُلاً مِنَ الشَّمَالِ، هَا هُوَ مُقْبِلٌ مِنْ مَشْرِقِ الشَّمْسِ يَدْعُو بِاسْمِي، يَطَأُ الْوُلاةَ كَمَا يَطَأُ فَوْقَ الْوَحْلِ، وَيَدُوسُ عَلَيْهِمْ كَمَا يَدُوسُ الْخَزَّافُ فَوْقَ الطِّينِ.

“我使一人从北方兴起，他来了，他在东方求告我的名。他必把掌权者像灰泥一样踏在脚下，像窑匠踩泥一样践踏。

我 从 北 方 兴 起 一 人 ； 他 是 求 告 我 名 的 ， 从 日 出 之 地 而 来 。 他 必 临 到 掌 权 的 ， 好 像 临 到 灰 泥 ， 彷 佛 窑 匠 踹 泥 一 样 。
