Isaiah 30:6

A [mournful, inspired] oracle ([b]a burden to be carried) concerning the beasts of the Negev (the South):Through a land of trouble and anguish,From [c]where come lioness and lion, viper and [fiery] flying serpent,They carry their riches on the shoulders of young donkeysAnd their treasures on the humps of camels,To a people (Egyptians) who cannot benefit them.

The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.

Here is a prophecy the Lord gave me about the animals in the Negev Desert.Judah’s messengers carry their riches on the backs of donkeys. They carry their treasures on the humps of camels. They travel through a land of danger and suffering.It’s a land filled with lions. Poisonous snakes are also there.The messengers travel to a nation that can’t do them any good.

This message came to me concerning the animals in the Negev:The caravan moves slowly across the terrible desert to Egypt—donkeys weighed down with riches and camels loaded with treasure— all to pay for Egypt’s protection.They travel through the wilderness, a place of lionesses and lions, a place where vipers and poisonous snakes live.All this, and Egypt will give you nothing in return.

نُبُوءَةٌ بِشَأْنِ وُحُوشِ النَّقَبِ: عَبْرَ أَرْضِ العَنَاءِ وَالأَهْوَالِ حَيْثُ تَعِيشُ الأُسُودُ وَالأَفَاعِي، تَحْمِلُ قَوَافِلُهُمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ عَلَى ظُهُورِ حَمِيرِهِمْ، وَكُنُوزَهُمْ عَلَى أَسْنِمَةِ جِمَالِهِمْ إِلَى مِصْرَ الَّتِي لَا رَجَاءَ فِيهَا.

Og så er det til ingen nytte, for egypterne vil ikke hjælpe jer.

Ginakarga nila ang ila mga manggad sa mga asno kag mga kamelyo agod iregalo sa nasyon nga indi man lang makabulig sa ila.

Door onherbergzame streken waar leeuwen en giftige slangen leven, trekken zij langzaam naar Egypte. Met ezels en kamelen, beladen met kostbare schatten, waarmee de hulp van Egypte moet worden betaald. Maar Egypte zal er niets voor teruggeven.
