Isaiah 26:18

We have been with child, we have twisted and struggled in labor;We gave birth, as it seems, only to wind.We could not accomplish salvation for the earth,Nor were inhabitants of the world [d]born.

We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.

حَبِلْنَا وَتَلَوَّيْنَا وَلَكِنَّنَا كُنَّا كَمَنْ يَتَمَخَّضُ عَنْ رِيحٍ. لَمْ نُخَلِّصِ الأَرْضَ وَلَمْ يُوْلَدْ مَنْ يُقِيمُ فِيهَا فَتَصِيرُ آهِلَةً عَامِرَةً.

Ja, vi vred os i fødselsveer, men intet kom der ud af det.Vi kunne ikke selv redde vores land. Intet fødtes af vore anstrengelser.

Ja, wir wanden uns in Geburtswehen, doch wir brachten nichts als Luft zur Welt. Unsere Mühe war umsonst: Wir konnten das Land nicht befreien und keinem Menschen das Leben schenken.

身もだえしてうめきました。どんなに努力しても、自由の身になれませんでした。

Ook wij zijn ineengekrompen van vreselijke angst, maar het baatte niet. Al onze pogingen konden ons niet verlossen.

Nós engravidamos e nos contorcemos de dor, mas demos à luz o vento.Não trouxemos salvação à terra;não demos à luz os habitantes do mundo.

Nós também nos torcemos em agonia,mas foi tudo em vão.Nenhuma salvação veio à Terra,nem nasceram novos habitantes do mundo.

Am purtat în pântece copii, ne-am zvârcolit în dureri, dar am născut vânt.Mântuirea n-am adus-o pe pământ şi nu i-am născut pe locuitorii lumii.

Vi var havande och våndades men födde vind. Vi förde ingen räddning till jorden, inga invånare föddes in i världen.[c]

เหล่าข้าพระองค์เจ็บท้อง ทุรนทุรายด้วยความเจ็บปวดแต่ก็เบ่งออกมาได้แต่ลมข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายไม่ได้นำความรอดมาสู่โลกและไม่ได้ให้กำเนิดมวลมนุษย์

我们曾怀胎，痛苦呻吟，但产下来的却是一阵风。我们没有给世界带来拯救，也没有给世上带来生命。

我 们 也 曾 怀 孕 疼 痛 ， 所 产 的 竟 像 风 一 样 。 我 们 在 地 上 未 曾 行 甚 麽 拯 救 的 事 ； 世 上 的 居 民 也 未 曾 败 落 。

我們曾懷胎，痛苦呻吟，但產下來的卻是一陣風。我們沒有給世界帶來拯救，也沒有給世上帶來生命。
