Isaiah 21:16

For the Lord has said this to me, “Within a year, according to the years of a hired man [who will work no longer than was agreed], all the splendor of [the tribe of] Kedar will end;

For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of an hireling, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail:

For thus the Lord said to me, “In a year, as [r]a hired man would count it, all the splendor of Kedar will terminate;

The Lord spoke to me. He said, “In exactly one year, Kedar’s splendor will come to an end.

This is what the Lord says to me: “Within one year, as a servant bound by contract would count it, all the splendor of Kedar will come to an end.

The Lord said to me, “Within a year, counting each day,[e] all the glory of Kedar will come to an end.

لأَنَّهُ هَذَا مَا قَالَهُ لِي الرَّبُّ: فِي غُضُونِ سَنَةٍ مَمَاثِلَةٍ لِسَنَةِ الأَجِيرِ يَفْنَى كُلُّ مَجْدِ قِيدَارَ،

Om et år, siger Herren, er Kedars land besejret,

Der Herr hat mir gesagt: »Genau in einem Jahr – nicht früher und nicht später – ist es aus mit dem Ruhm und Reichtum des arabischen Stammes von Kedar.
