Isaiah 19:3

“Then the spirit of the Egyptians will become exhausted within them and emptied out;And I will confuse their strategy,So that they will consult the idols and the spirits of the dead,And mediums and soothsayers.

And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.

“Then the spirit of the Egyptians will be demoralized within them;And I will confound their strategy,So that they will resort to idols and ghosts of the deadAnd to [b]mediums and spiritists.

The people of Egypt will lose hope. I will keep them from doing what they plan to do.They will ask their gods for advice. They will turn to the spirits of dead people for help.They will go to people who get messages from those who have died. They will ask for advice from people who talk to the spirits of the dead.

The Egyptians will lose heart, and I will bring their plans to nothing;they will consult the idols and the spirits of the dead, the mediums and the spiritists.

فَتَذُوبُ أَرْوَاحُ الْمِصْرِيِّينَ فِي دَاخِلِهِمْ، وَأُبْطِلُ مَشُورَتَهُمْ، فَيَسْأَلُونَ الأَوْثَانَ وَالسَّحَرَةَ وَأَصْحَابَ التَّوَابِعِ وَالْعَرَّافِينَ.

Landets ledere bliver modløse og forvirrede, så de ikke aner, hvad de skal stille op. De trygler deres afguder om visdom, de anråber de døde om indsigt ved hjælp af medier og clairvoyante.

知恵ある助言者も、どうしたらよいかわからず途方にくれ、あげくの果てに、偶像に助けを求め、霊媒や魔術師や魔女に伺いを立てる。

내가 이집트 사람들의 계획을 좌절시키며 그들의 사기를 저하시킬 것이니 그들은 자기들의 우상에게 도움을 구하고 마술사와 영매와 무당을 찾아다닐 것이다.
