Isaiah 16:2

For like wandering birds or scattered nestlings,The daughters of Moab will be at the fords of the [river] Arnon.

For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.

Then, like [b]fleeing birds or scattered [c]nestlings,The daughters of Moab will be at the fords of the Arnon.

The women of Moab are at the places where people go across the Arnon River.They are like birds that flap their wings when they are pushed from their nest.

Like fluttering birds pushed from the nest,so are the women of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.

The women of Moab are left like homeless birds at the shallow crossings of the Arnon River.

نِسَاءُ مُوآبَ عَلَى ضِفَافِ أَرْنُونَ مِثْلُ الطُّيُورِ التَّائِهَةِ أَوِ الفِرَاخِ الشَّارِدَةِ.

„Vores opskræmte folk er ved Arnonflodens vadesteder som flaksende fugle og hjemløse fugleunger.

»Die Moabiter gleichen herumflatternden Vögeln, die man aus dem Nest aufgescheucht hat. Hilflos irren sie an den Übergängen des Flusses Arnon umher.
