Isaiah 14:8

“Even the cypress trees rejoice over you [kings of Babylon], even the cedars of Lebanon, saying,‘Since you were laid low, no woodcutter comes up against us.’

Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.

Even the juniper trees show how happy they are. The cedar trees of Lebanon celebrate too.They say, ‘Babylon, you have fallen. Now no one comes and cuts us down.’

حَتَّى شَجَرُ السَّرْوِ وَأَرْزُ لُبْنَانَ عَمَّهَا الْفَرَحُ فَقَالَتْ: «مُنْذُ أَنِ انْكَسَرَتْ شَوْكَتُكَ لَمْ يَصْعَدْ إِلَيْنَا قَاطِعُ حَطَبٍ»

Selv cypresserne glæder sig. Libanons cedertræer synger:‚Du havde tænkt at fælde os! Men det var dig selv, der faldt!’

Sogar der Wald triumphiert über dich,Zypressen und Zedern auf dem Libanon jauchzen:›Seit du gestürzt am Boden liegst,kommt keiner mehr herauf, um uns zu fällen.‹

Bisan ang mga kahoy nga sipres kag sedro sang Lebanon nagakalipay tungod sa natabo sa hari. Daw sa tawo sila nga nagasiling, ‘Karon nga wala ka na, wala na sing may mag-utod sa amon!’

糸杉やレバノン杉のような森の木さえ、うれしそうに声を張り上げて歌います。「バビロンは力を失った。もうだれにも煩わされない。平和が来たのだ。」

전나무와 레바논의 백향목까지도 네가 망한 것을 보고 기뻐하며 ‘네가 쓰러졌으니 올라와서 우리를 벨 자가 없다’ 하는구나.

Till och med cypresserna gläds över ditt fall, liksom Libanons cedrar: ”Nu ligger du där, och ingen kommer och fäller oss mer.”
