Isaiah 13:18

Their bows will cut down the young men [of Babylon];They will take no pity on the fruit of the womb,Their eyes will not look with compassion on the children.

Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eyes shall not spare children.

And their bows will [g]mow down the young men,They will not even have compassion on the fruit of the womb,Nor will their eye pity [h]children.

Instead, they will use their bows and arrows to strike down the young men.They won’t even show any mercy to babies. They won’t take pity on children.

تُمَزِّقُ قِسِيُّهُمُ الْفِتْيَانَ وَلا يَرْحَمُونَ الأَوْلادَ أَوِ الرُّضَّعَ.

De aanvallende legers zullen geen medelijden hebben met de jonge mensen van Babel, met babyʼs of met kinderen.
