Isaiah 10:14

“My hand has found the wealth of the people like a nest,And as one gathers eggs that are abandoned, so I have gathered all the earth;And there was not one that flapped its wing, or that opened its beak and chirped.”

And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.

And my hand reached to the riches of the peoples like a nest,And as one gathers abandoned eggs, I gathered all the earth;And there was not one that flapped its wing or opened its beak or chirped.”

I’ve taken the wealth of the nations. It was as easy as reaching into a bird’s nest.I’ve gathered the riches of all these countries. It was as easy as gathering eggs that have been left in a nest.Not a single baby bird flapped its wings. Not one of them opened its mouth to chirp.’ ”

I have robbed their nests of riches and gathered up kingdoms as a farmer gathers eggs.No one can even flap a wing against me or utter a peep of protest.”

وَكَمَا تَسْتَحْوِذُ يَدُ الإِنْسَانِ عَلَى الْعُشِّ، هَكَذَا اسْتَحْوَذَتْ يَدِي عَلَى ثَرْوَاتِ الشُّعُوبِ. وَكَمَا يَجْمَعُ الإِنْسَانُ الْبَيْضَ الْمَهْجُورَ، هَكَذَا جَمَعْتُ الأَرْضَ بِأَسْرِهَا، فَلَمْ يَجْرُؤْ أَحَدٌ أَنْ يُحَرِّكَ جَنَاحاً أَوْ يَفْتَحَ فَاهاً أَوْ يَنْبِسَ بِهَمْسَةٍ.

Jeg har samlet deres rigdomme, som man samler æg fra en forladt fuglerede, uden at nogen gjorde modstand eller gav lyd fra sig!”

Wie man Vogelnester ausnimmt, so habe ich den Reichtum der Völker zusammengerafft. Alle Länder habe ich eingesammelt wie Eier aus einem verlassenen Nest. Keiner hat es gewagt, auch nur mit den Flügeln zu schlagen, sie haben den Schnabel gehalten und keinen Pieps von sich gegeben.«

Ma main a ramassé |les richesses des peuples |comme on ramasse un nid.Comme on s’empare |des œufs abandonnés,j’ai pris toute la terresans qu’il y ait personne |pour agiter les ailes,ou pour ouvrir le bec, |ou pour siffler. »

Ginpanguha ko ang manggad sang mga nasyon pareho nga daw nagapanguha lang ako sang mga itlog sa ginbayaan nga pugad. Wala sing may nagpalakpalak ukon may nag-iyagak.’ ”

諸国の富を略奪し、農夫が卵を集めるように、王国を奪い取ってきた。彼らはわれわれを阻止するどころか、抗議することさえできなかった。」

내가 세상 나라들을 얻은 것이 새의 보금자리를 얻은 것 같아서 버려진 새알을 줍듯이 그들의 재물을 주워 모았으나 손짓을 하거나 입을 벌려 말 한마디 하는 자가 없었다.’ ”

In onze grootheid beroofden wij het volk van zijn schatten als iemand die een vogelnest leegrooft en wij verzamelden koninkrijken als een boer die eieren raapt. Niemand kan een vinger naar ons uitsteken of zijn mond openen om tegen ons te piepen!’

Como se estica o braço para alcançar um ninho,assim estiquei o braço para apanhar a riqueza das nações;como os que ajuntam ovos abandonados, assim ajuntei toda a terra;não houve ninguém que batesse as asas ou que desse um pio’”.

Pela nossa grandeza assaltámos os ninhos da riqueza deles e acumulámos reinos conquistados, tal como o camponês junta os seus ovos; ninguém ousa mexer sequer um dedo ou abrir a boca para dizer uma palavra contra nós!’ ”

Mâna mea a găsit, ca pe un cuib, bogăţia popoarelor!Ca unul care adună ouăle uitate, aşa am adunat tot pământulşi nimeni n-a mişcat vreo aripă, n-a deschis gura, nici n-a ciripit!’

มือของเราฉกชิงทรัพย์สมบัติของประชาชาติต่างๆเหมือนคนเอื้อมไปเก็บรังนกเรารวบรวมประเทศทั้งปวงเหมือนคนเก็บไข่ที่ถูกทิ้งไว้ไม่มีหน้าไหนกล้าขยับปีกหรือปริปากร้อง’ ”

我夺取列国的财物，好像探囊取物；我征服天下，不过是手到擒来；无人反抗，无人吭声。”

我 的 手 ? 到 列 国 的 财 宝 ， 好 像 人 ? 到 鸟 窝 ； 我 也 得 了 全 地 ， 好 像 人 拾 起 所 弃 的 雀 蛋 。 没 有 动 翅 膀 的 ； 没 有 张 嘴 的 ， 也 没 有 鸣 叫 的 。

我奪取列國的財物，好像探囊取物；我征服天下，不過是手到擒來；無人反抗，無人吭聲。」
