Hosea 9:4

They will not pour out drink offerings of wine to the Lord;Their sacrifices will not please Him.Their bread will be like mourners’ bread [eaten at funerals];All who eat it will be [ceremonially] unclean,For their bread will be for themselves;It will not enter the house of the Lord [to be consecrated].

They shall not offer wine offerings to the Lord, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices shall be unto them as the bread of mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted: for their bread for their soul shall not come into the house of the Lord.

You won’t pour out wine offerings to the Lord. Your sacrifices won’t please him.They’ll be like the bread people eat when someone dies. Everyone who eats those sacrifices will be “unclean.”They themselves will have to eat that kind of food. They can’t bring it into the Lord’s temple.

لَا تَسْكُبُوا لِلرَّبِّ خَمْراً وَلَنْ تَسُرَّهُ ذَبَائِحُكُمْ، بَلْ تَكُونُ لَكُمْ كَخُبْزِ النَّائِحِينَ. كُلُّ مَنْ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ يَتَنَجَّسُ، إِذْ يَكُونُ خُبْزُكُمْ لِسَدِّ جُوعِكُمْ فَقَطْ، وَلا يَدْخُلُ أَبَداً إِلَى بَيْتِ الرَّبِّ.

Ils ne verseront plus |de vin en libation |pour l’Eternel,leurs sacrifices |ne lui seront pas agréables,leur nourriture |sera comme un repas de deuil[c].Ceux qui en mangeront |se rendront tous impurs.Leur pain ne servira |que pour leur subsistancemais il n’entrera pas |dans le temple de l’Eternel.

Daar, ver van huis, zult u geen wijn mogen sprenkelen als offer aan God. Want Hij zal geen genoegen vinden in de offers die daar worden gebracht: zij zijn verontreinigd, net als het voedsel van hen die in de rouw zijn. Wie zulke offers eet, wordt onrein. Zij mogen dit voedsel wel voor zichzelf gebruiken, maar niet aan de Here offeren.

De ska inte få hälla ut vin som drickoffer åt Herren, och deras slaktoffer kan inte behaga honom. Sådana ska vara för dem som sorgebröd. Alla som äter av det blir orena. Deras bröd är bara för dem själva och ska inte komma in i Herrens hus.
