I have seen a horrible thing [sins of every kind] in the house of Israel!Ephraim’s prostitution (idolatry) is there; Israel has defiled itself.

لَقَدْ شَهِدْتُ فِي وَسَطِ شَعْبِ إِسْرَائِيلَ فَظَائِعَ، فَقَدْ زَنَى هُنَاكَ أَفْرَايِمُ وَتَنَجَّسَ إِسْرَائِيلُ.

Ja, jeg har været vidne til grufulde ting i Israel. Efraim var mig utro, og hele Israel blev fordærvet.
