Hosea 4:18

When their liquor is gone [and their drinking parties are over],They habitually go to play the prostitute;Ephraim’s rulers continue to dearly love shame [more than her glory which is the Lord, Israel’s God].

Their drink is sour: they have committed whoredom continually: her rulers with shame do love, Give ye.

Their liquor gone,They play the harlot continually;Their [o]rulers dearly love shame.

They continue to be unfaithful to me even when their drinks are gone. And their rulers love to do shameful things.

Even when their drinks are gone, they continue their prostitution; their rulers dearly love shameful ways.

When the rulers of Israel finish their drinking, off they go to find some prostitutes. They love shame more than honor.[e]

وَحَالَمَا يَنْضُبُ خَمْرُهُمْ يَنْغَمِسُونَ فِي فَسَادِهِمْ، مُفَضِّلِينَ الْعَارَ عَلَى الشَّرَفِ.

De drikker sig fulde og finder en skøge. De elsker deres skamløshed.

Sie halten Saufgelage ab und vergnügen sich danach mit ihren Huren. Und anstatt sich zu schämen, sind sie auch noch stolz darauf!

イスラエルの男たちは酒を飲みあかし、それが終わると売春婦をあさる。名誉よりも恥を愛している。

그들은 실컷 마신 다음에 계속 창녀짓을 하고 그들의 지도자들은 수치를 기뻐하고 있다.

Nauwelijks hebben Israëls mannen hun roes uitgeslapen of zij gaan naar de hoeren. Zij verlangen meer naar schande dan naar eer.

Mesmo quando acaba a bebida, eles continuam em sua prostituição;seus governantes amam profundamente os caminhos vergonhosos.

Os homens de Israel acabaram as suas rodadas de vinho; vão para a rua à procura de meretrizes. A sua atração pelo que é corrupto é muito maior do que o amor pela honra.

Deşi băutura s-a sfârşit, ei continuă să se prostitueze; conducătorii lui iubesc mult ruşinea[m].

Även när deras dryckeslag är över fortsätter de med sin otukt. Deras härskare är djupt förälskade i det skamlösa.[b]
