Hosea 12:4

He wrestled with the angel and prevailed;He wept [in repentance] and sought His favor.He met Him at BethelAnd there God spoke with [him and through him with] us—

Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Bethel, and there he spake with us;

At Peniel he struggled with the angel and won. Jacob wept and begged for his blessing.God also met with him at Bethel. He talked with him there.

تَصَارَعَ مَعَ الْمَلاكِ وَغَلَبَ. بَكَى وَالْتَمَسَ رِضَاهُ وَبَرَكَتَهُ، الْتَقَاهُ اللهُ فِي بَيْتِ إِيلَ فَخَاطَبَهُ هُنَاكَ.

Allerede ved fødslen narrede Jakob sin tvillingebror. Som voksen kæmpede han med Gud.

paagi sa pagpakigdumog sa isa ka anghel,[c] kag nagdaog siya. Nagahibi siya samtang nagapangayo sang bendisyon sa anghel. Nakita niya ang Dios sa Betel, kag didto nagpakighambal sa iya[d] ang Dios.

まさに、御使いと格闘して勝ちました。彼は御使いに、祝福してくれるようにと泣いて頼みました。ベテルでは、神と顔と顔を合わせるようにして出会い、神は彼に語りかけました。

그는 천사와 힘을 겨루어 이기고 울면서 [a]그의 축복을 구하였으며 하나님은 벧엘에서 그를 만나시고 거기서 그와 말씀하셨다.

Han kämpade med ängeln och vann seger. Han grät och bad honom om nåd. I Betel mötte han Gud, där talade han med honom[b].

เขาสู้กับทูตสวรรค์และเอาชนะได้เขาร่ำไห้อ้อนวอนขอความเมตตาพระองค์ทรงพบเขาที่เบธเอลและตรัสกับเขาที่นั่น

他跟天使角力得胜，向天使哭求福分。他在伯特利遇见祂，在那里与祂说话——

与 天 使 较 力 ， 并 且 得 胜 ， 哭 泣 恳 求 ， 在 伯 特 利 遇 见 耶 和 华 。 耶 和 华 ─ 万 军 之 神 在 那 里 晓 谕 我 们 以 色 列 人 ； 耶 和 华 是 他 可 记 念 的 名 。
