Habakkuk 2:13

“Is it not indeed from the Lord of hostsThat peoples labor [only] for the fire [that will destroy their work],And nations grow weary for nothing [that is, things which have no lasting value]?

Behold, is it not of the Lord of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?

“Is it not indeed from the Lord of hostsThat peoples toil for fire,And nations grow weary for nothing?

I am the Lord who rules over all. Human effort is no better than wood that feeds a fire. So the nations wear themselves out for nothing.

Has not the Lord Almighty determined that the people’s labor is only fuel for the fire, that the nations exhaust themselves for nothing?

Has not the Lord of Heaven’s Armies promised that the wealth of nations will turn to ashes?They work so hard, but all in vain!

أَلَمْ يَصْدُرِ الْقَضَاءُ مِنْ عِنْدِ الرَّبِّ الْقَدِيرِ أَنْ يَؤُولَ تَعَبُ الشُّعُوبِ إِلَى النَّارِ وَجَهْدُ الأُمَمِ إِلَى الْبَاطِلِ؟

Herren, den Almægtige, har jo sagt, at alt, hvad mennesker bygger, vil gå op i røg. Alt deres slid og slæb er til ingen nytte.

Aber der Herr, der allmächtige Gott, hat das letzte Wort: Was Völker mühsam errichtet haben, hat keinen Bestand – ihre Bauwerke werden ein Raub der Flammen!

Quand les peuples travaillent |pour ce qui périt par le feu,et quand les nations s’éreintent pour rien[i],cela ne vient-il pas de l’Eternel, |du Seigneur des armées célestes ?

Pero inang ginpatukod ninyo sa mga katawhan nga ginbihag ninyo pagasunugon man lang, gani mangin wala sing pulos ang ila pinangabudlayan. Gintalana na ini sang Ginoo nga Makagagahom.

主に逆らう国々の利益は彼らの手の中で灰になると、主は定めていなかったか。彼らがどんなに精を出しても、すべてが水の泡だ。

민족들이 불탈 것을 위해 수고하며 나라들이 헛된 일로 힘을 소모하니 전능한 나 여호와가 정한 일이 아니냐?

Heeft de Here van de hemelse legers niet bepaald dat de winst van de goddeloze volken in rook zal opgaan? Zij sloven zich uit, maar tevergeefs!

Acaso não vem do Senhor dos Exércitosque o trabalho dos povos seja só para satisfazer o fogo,e que as nações se afadiguem em vão?

Não decretou o Senhor dos exércitos que o trabalho das nações sem Deus se desfará em cinzas nas suas mãos? Trabalham duramente, mas tudo em vão!

Să nu fie oare de la Domnul Oştirilor[l] faptul că popoarele se trudesc doar pentru a hrăni focul şi neamurile se ostenesc pentru nimic?

Разве не Вечный, Повелитель Сил, решил, что труды людей – лишь пища для огня, что народы изнуряют себя напрасно?

Har inte härskarornas Herre bestämt att folkens möda bara är bränsle i elden, och att de sliter ut sig till ingen nytta?

พระยาห์เวห์ผู้ทรงฤทธิ์ได้ทรงตัดสินพระทัยไว้แล้วไม่ใช่หรือว่าการลงแรงทำงานของชนชาตินั้นก็เป็นเพียงเชื้อไฟการตรากตรำจนสิ้นแรงของชนชาติต่างๆ ก็สูญเปล่า?

列邦的财富都化为灰烬，列国劳碌却是一场空。这不都是出于万军之耶和华吗？

众 民 所 劳 碌 得 来 的 被 火 焚 烧 ， 列 国 由 劳 乏 而 得 的 归 於 虚 空 ， 不 都 是 出 於 万 军 之 耶 和 华 麽 ？

列邦的財富都化為灰燼，列國勞碌卻是一場空。這不都是出於萬軍之耶和華嗎？
