Habakkuk 1:14

Why do You make men like the fish of the sea,Like reptiles and creeping things that have no ruler [and are helpless against their enemies]?

And makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?

Why have You made men like the fish of the sea,Like creeping things without a ruler over them?

You have made people to be like the fish in the sea. They are like the sea creatures that don’t have a ruler.

You have made people like the fish in the sea, like the sea creatures that have no ruler.

You have made people like the fish in the sea, like the sea creatures that have no ruler.

Are we only fish to be caught and killed? Are we only sea creatures that have no leader?

وَكَيْفَ تَجْعَلُ النَّاسَ كَأَسْمَاكِ الْبَحْرِ، أَوْ كَأَسْرَابِ الْحَشَرَاتِ الَّتِي لَا قَائِدَ لَهَا؟

Vi bliver som havets fisk, som krybdyr uden en anfører.

Du lässt sie mit den Menschen umgehen wie mit Fischen und anderen Meerestieren, die keinen Anführer haben und ihren Feinden schutzlos ausgeliefert sind.

Waarom behandelt u de mensen als vissen die gevangen en gedood worden, als kruipende dieren die geen leider hebben om hen te verdedigen tegen de vijand?

Tornaste os homens como peixes do mar,como animais[d], que não são governados por ninguém.

Seremos nós como peixes, que servem para ser apanhados e comidos, que não têm quem os governe, ou como répteis que são apanhados e esmagados?
