Genesis 49:26

“The blessings of your fatherAre greater than the blessings of my ancestors [Abraham and Isaac]Up to the utmost bound of the everlasting hills;They shall be on the head of Joseph,Even on the crown of the head of him who was the distinguished one and the one who is prince among (separate from) his brothers.

The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

Your father’s blessings are great. They are greater than the blessings from the age-old mountains. They are greater than the gifts from the ancient hills.Let all those blessings rest on the head of Joseph. Let them rest on the head of the one who is prince among his brothers.

إِنَّ بَرَكَاتِ أَبِيكَ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ بَرَكَاتِ الْجِبَالِ الدَّهْرِيَّةِ، وَأَعْظَمُ مِنْ ذَخَائِرِ التِّلالِ الْقَدِيمَةِ، فَلْتَحُلَّ جَمِيعُهَا عَلَى رَأْسِكَ يَا يُوسُفُ وَعَلَى جَبِينِ الَّذِي انْفَصَلَ عَنْ إِخْوَتِهِ.

Den velsignelse, du får fra din far, overgår de ældgamle bjerges velsignelser og det, de evige høje kan tilbyde.Må disse velsignelser hvile på Josefs hoved, på issen af fyrsten blandt brødre.
