Genesis 34:30

Then Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, “You have ruined me, making me a stench to the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites and the Perizzites! My men are few in number, and the men of the land will band together against me and attack me; I shall be destroyed, I and my household.”

And Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, Ye have troubled me to make me to stink among the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites: and I being few in number, they shall gather themselves together against me, and slay me; and I shall be destroyed, I and my house.

Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, “You’ve made my name stink to high heaven among the people here, these Canaanites and Perizzites. If they decided to gang up on us and attack, as few as we are we wouldn’t stand a chance; they’d wipe me and my people right off the map.”

Then Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, “You have brought trouble on me by making me odious among the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites; and [s]my men being few in number, they will gather together against me and [t]attack me and I will be destroyed, I and my household.”

Then Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, “You have brought trouble on me. Now I’m like a very bad smell to the Canaanites and Perizzites who live in this land. There aren’t many of us. They may join together against me and attack me. Then I and my family will be destroyed.”

Then Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, “You have brought trouble on me by making me obnoxious to the Canaanites and Perizzites, the people living in this land. We are few in number, and if they join forces against me and attack me, I and my household will be destroyed.”

Then Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, ‘You have brought trouble on me by making me obnoxious to the Canaanites and Perizzites, the people living in this land. We are few in number, and if they join forces against me and attack me, I and my household will be destroyed.’

Afterward Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, “You have ruined me! You’ve made me stink among all the people of this land—among all the Canaanites and Perizzites. We are so few that they will join forces and crush us. I will be ruined, and my entire household will be wiped out!”

فَقَالَ يَعْقُوبُ لِشِمْعُونَ وَلاوِي: «لَقَدْ جَلَبْتُمَا عَلَيَّ الشَّقَاءَ وَكَرَاهِيَةَ الْكَنْعَانِيِّينَ وَالْفِرِزِّيِّينَ السَّاكِنِينَ فِي هَذِهِ الْبِلادِ. وَهَا أَنَا نَفَرٌ قَلِيلٌ، فَيَتَأَلَّبُونَ عَلَيَّ وَيَقْتُلُونَنِي، فَأَبِيدُ أَنَا وَبَيْتِي».

Men Jakob bebrejdede Simeon og Levi, hvad de havde gjort. „I har gjort mig meget upopulær!” sagde han. „Nu kan jeg takke jer for, at landets indbyggere, kana’anæerne og perizzitterne, er blevet mine fjender. Vi er jo ikke ret mange, så hvis de slår sig sammen og angriber os, er det ude med os.”

Als Jakob davon erfuhr, warf er Simeon und Levi vor: »Ihr stürzt mich ins Unglück! Jetzt bin ich bei allen Bewohnern des Landes verhasst! Die Zahl unserer Leute ist verschwindend klein gegen die Menge der Kanaaniter und der Perisiter. Wenn sie sich zusammentun, ist es aus mit uns! Dann wird keiner von uns am Leben bleiben!«

Entonces Jacob les dijo a Simeón y Leví:―Me habéis provocado un problema muy serio. De ahora en adelante los cananeos y ferezeos, habitantes de este lugar, me van a odiar. Si ellos se unen contra mí y me atacan, me matarán a mí y a toda mi familia, pues cuento con muy pocos hombres.

Entonces Jacob les dijo a Simeón y Leví:—Me han provocado un problema muy serio. De ahora en adelante los cananeos y ferezeos, habitantes de este lugar, me van a odiar. Si ellos se unen contra mí y me atacan, me matarán a mí y a toda mi familia, pues cuento con muy pocos hombres.

Jacob dit à Siméon et à Lévi : Vous me causez des ennuis car vous m’avez rendu odieux aux Cananéens et aux Phéréziens qui habitent le pays. Je ne dispose que d’un petit nombre d’hommes ; s’ils se liguent contre moi, ils me battront et extermineront toute ma famille avec moi[c].

Karon, nagsiling si Jacob kay Simeon kag kay Levi, “Ginhatagan ninyo ako sang dako nga problema. Dumtan na kita karon sang mga Canaanhon kag mga Periznon sa sini nga lugar. Mapatay gid kita tanan kon mag-isa sila sa pagsalakay sa aton tungod kay diutay lang kita.”

そのやり方のひどさにヤコブは、レビとシメオンを責めました。「おまえたちのおかげで、私はすっかり憎まれ者になってしまった。付近に住むカナン人やペリジ人は、私のことを、さぞかし血も涙もない男だとうわさするだろう。こちらがこんな少人数では、彼らに攻められたらひとたまりもない。」

그러자 야곱이 시므온과 레위에게 말하였다. “너희가 내 입장을 난처하게 하였다. 이 땅에 사는 가나안 사람들과 브리스 사람들이 나를 증오할 것이다. 우리는 수가 얼마되지 않는데 만일 그들이 합세하여 공격해 온다면 우리 집안은 망하고 말 것이다.”

Maar Jakob zei tegen Simeon en Levi: ‘Jullie hebben mij in een kwaad daglicht gebracht tegenover de andere bewoners van dit land, de Kanaänieten en de Perizzieten. Wij zijn met zo weinig, dat ze hierheen zullen komen en ons zullen verslaan. Ze zullen ons allemaal doden.’

Então Jacó disse a Simeão e a Levi: “Vocês me puseram em grandes apuros, atraindo sobre mim o ódio[e] dos cananeus e dos ferezeus, habitantes desta terra. Somos poucos, e se eles juntarem suas forças e nos atacarem, eu e a minha família seremos destruídos”.

Jacob teve de dizer a Simeão e a Levi: “Vocês tornaram-me repelente para com o povo desta terra, os cananeus e os perizeus. Sendo nós tão poucos, facilmente virão contra nós para nos destruir.”

Atunci Iacov le-a zis lui Simeon şi lui Levi:– M-aţi nenorocit făcându-mă urât canaaniţilor şi periziţilor, locuitorii ţării; eu am puţini oameni în subordine, iar ei se vor strânge împotriva mea şi mă vor omorî, astfel încât voi fi nimicit eu şi familia mea.

Då sa Jakob till Simon och Levi: ”Ni har dragit olycka över mig och gjort så att alla hatar mig i hela landet, både kanaanéerna och perisséerna. Vi är så få. Om de bestämmer sig för att anfalla oss, kommer de att döda både mig och min familj.”

雅各责备西缅和利未说：“你们为什么要给我惹麻烦，使我在当地的迦南人和比利洗人中留下臭名呢？我们人数很少，要是他们联手来攻击我们，我们全家必遭灭门之祸。”

雅 各 对 西 缅 和 利 未 说 ： 你 们 连 累 我 ， 使 我 在 这 地 的 居 民 中 ， 就 是 在 迦 南 人 和 比 利 洗 人 中 ， 有 了 臭 名 。 我 的 人 丁 既 然 稀 少 ， 他 们 必 聚 集 来 击 杀 我 ， 我 和 全 家 的 人 都 必 灭 绝 。
