Genesis 21:12

God said to Abraham, “Do not let it distress you because of Ishmael and your maid; whatever Sarah tells you, listen to her and do what she asks, for your descendants will be named through Isaac.

And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

But God said to Abraham, “[f]Do not be distressed because of the lad and your maid; whatever Sarah tells you, listen to her, for through Isaac [g]your descendants shall be named.

But God said to Abraham, “Do not be so upset about the boy and your slave Hagar. Listen to what Sarah tells you, because your family line will continue through Isaac.

فَقَال اللهُ لَهُ: «لا يَسُوءُ فِي نَفْسِكَ أَمْرُ الصَّبِيِّ أَوْ أَمْرُ جَارِيَتِكَ، وَاسْمَعْ لِكَلامِ سَارَةَ فِي كُلِّ مَا تُشِيرُ بِهِ عَلَيْكَ لأَنَّهُ بِإِسْحاقَ يُدْعَى لَكَ نَسْلٌ.

Men Gud sagde til Abraham: „Vær ikke bekymret for slavekvinden og hendes søn. Gør som Sara siger! For det er gennem Isak, din slægt skal opbygges.

Men Gud sa till Abraham: ”Var inte så bekymrad över detta med Ismael och slavkvinnan. Gör som Sara säger, för det är bara Isaks efterkommande som ska räknas som dina ättlingar.

แต่พระเจ้าตรัสกับเขาว่า “อย่าทุกข์ใจเรื่องเด็กคนนั้นกับเมียทาสของเจ้าเลย จงทำตามที่ซาราห์บอก เพราะเชื้อสาย[b]ของเจ้าจะนับทางอิสอัค

上帝对亚伯拉罕说：“你不要再为这孩子和你的婢女烦恼，只管照撒拉的意思去做，因为以撒生的才可算为你的后代。

神 对 亚 伯 拉 罕 说 ： 你 不 必 为 这 童 子 和 你 的 使 女 忧 愁 。 凡 撒 拉 对 你 说 的 话 ， 你 都 该 听 从 ； 因 为 从 以 撒 生 的 ， 才 要 称 为 你 的 後 裔 。

上帝對亞伯拉罕說：「你不要再為這孩子和你的婢女煩惱，只管照撒拉的意思去做，因為以撒生的才可算為你的後代。
