Genesis 2:9

And [in that garden] the Lord God caused to grow from the ground every tree that is desirable and pleasing to the sight and good (suitable, pleasant) for food; the tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the [experiential] knowledge (recognition) of [the difference between] good and evil.

One of them had fruit that let people live forever. The other had fruit that let people tell the difference between good and evil.

وَاستَنْبَتَ الرَّبُّ الإِلَهُ مِنَ الأَرْضِ كُلَّ شَجَرَةٍ بَهِيَّةٍ لِلنَّظَرِ، وَلَذِيذَةٍ لِلأَكْلِ، وَغَرَسَ أَيْضاً شَجَرَةَ الْحَيَاةِ، وَشَجَرَةَ مَعْرِفَةِ الْخَيْرِ وَالشَّرِّ فِي وَسَطِ الْجَنَّةِ.

Gud havde plantet alle slags smukke træer i haven, træer med en mængde frugt. Midt i haven stod livets træ og træet, der giver kendskab til både godt og ondt.

Viele prachtvolle Bäume ließ er im Garten wachsen. Ihre Früchte sahen köstlich aus und schmeckten gut. In der Mitte des Gartens standen zwei Bäume: der Baum, dessen Frucht Leben schenkt, und der Baum, der Gut und Böse erkennen lässt.

L’Eternel Dieu fit pousser du sol toutes sortes d’arbres portant des fruits d’aspect agréable et délicieux, et il mit l’arbre de la vie[d] au milieu du jardin. Il y plaça aussi l’arbre de la détermination du bien et du mal[e].

園には、あらゆる種類の美しい木が植えられています。どれも、極上の実をつける木ばかりでした。園の中央には、「いのちの木」と、善悪を判断する知恵のつく「良心の木」とがありました。

갖가지 아름다운 나무가 자라 맛있는 과일이 맺히게 하셨는데 그 동산 중앙에는 생명 나무와 선악을 알게 하는 나무도 있었다.

Herren Gud lät vackra träd av alla slag växa i trädgården, och de gav den mest utsökta frukt. Mitt i trädgården planterade han livets träd och kunskapens träd, det som ger kunskap om gott och ont.
