Genesis 15:6

Then Abram believed in (affirmed, trusted in, relied on, remained steadfast to) the Lord; and He counted (credited) it to him [b]as righteousness (doing right in regard to God and man).

And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

And he believed! Believed God! God declared him “Set-Right-with-God.”

Abram believed the Lord. The Lord was pleased with Abram because he believed. So Abram’s faith made him right with the Lord.

فَآمَنَ بِالرَّبِّ فَحَسَبَهُ لَهُ بِرّاً،

Abram troede på Herren, og derfor blev han accepteret.

Abram nahm dieses Versprechen ernst. Er setzte sein ganzes Vertrauen auf den Herrn, und so fand er Gottes Anerkennung.[a]

Abram geloofde het woord van de Here en dat was de reden dat God hem als een rechtvaardig mens beschouwde.

亚伯兰信耶和华，耶和华便算他为义人。
