Genesis 15:5

And the Lord brought Abram outside [his tent into the night] and said, “Look now toward the heavens and count the stars—if you are able to count them.” Then He said to him, “So [numerous] shall your descendants be.”

And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

Then he took him outside and said, “Look at the sky. Count the stars. Can you do it? Count your descendants! You’re going to have a big family, Abram!”

And He took him outside and said, “Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them.” And He said to him, “So shall your [i]descendants be.”

The Lord took Abram outside and said, “Look up at the sky. Count the stars, if you can.” Then he said to him, “That’s how many children will be born into your family.”

He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring[d] be.”

He took him outside and said, ‘Look up at the sky and count the stars – if indeed you can count them.’ Then he said to him, ‘So shall your offspring[d] be.’

Then the Lord took Abram outside and said to him, “Look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. That’s how many descendants you will have!”

وَأَخْرَجَهُ الرَّبُّ إِلَى الْخَارِجِ وَقَالَ: «انْظُرْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَعُدَّ النُّجُومَ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ ذَلِكَ». ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ: «هَكَذَا يَكُونُ نَسْلُكَ».

Herren førte nu Abram udenfor og sagde: „Kig op mod himlen og prøv at tælle stjernerne. Dine efterkommere skal blive lige så talrige.”

Er führte Abram aus dem Zelt nach draußen und sagte zu ihm: »Schau dir den Himmel an, und versuche, die Sterne zu zählen! Genauso werden deine Nachkommen sein – unzählbar!«

Luego el Señor lo llevó afuera y le dijo:―Mira hacia el cielo y cuenta las estrellas, a ver si puedes. ¡Así de numerosa será tu descendencia!

Puis Dieu le fit sortir de sa tente et lui dit : Contemple le ciel et compte les étoiles, si tu en es capable. Et il ajouta : Tes descendants seront aussi nombreux qu’elles[a].

Dayon gindala siya sang Ginoo sa guwa kag ginsilingan, “Tan-awa bala ang mga bituon sa langit; isipa kon maisip mo. Pareho man sina kadamo ang imo mangin kaliwat.”

それから主はアブラムを外へ連れ出し、満天の星空の下に立たせました。「空を見なさい。あの星を全部数えられますか？ あなたの子孫はあの星のようにとても数えきれないほどの数になる。」

그를 데리고 밖으로 나가서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. “하늘을 쳐다보고 별을 세어 보아라. 네 후손도 저 별들처럼 많을 것이다.”

God nam Abram mee naar buiten en wees naar de nachtelijke hemel: ‘Kijk naar boven en tel al die sterren eens als u kunt! Zo zal uw nageslacht zijn: ontelbaar!’

Levando-o para fora da tenda, disse-lhe: “Olhe para o céu e conte as estrelas, se é que pode contá-las”. E prosseguiu: “Assim será a sua descendência”.

O Senhor trouxe-o para fora de casa, sob o céu estrelado, e disse-lhe: “Olha para o firmamento e vê se podes contar as estrelas. Pois assim será a tua descendência; serão tantos que nem se poderão contar!”

Sedan förde Gud ut Abram och sa till honom: ”Se upp mot himlen och räkna stjärnorna, om du kan. Så talrika ska dina efterkommande[b] bli.”

พระองค์ทรงนำเขาออกมาข้างนอกและตรัสว่า “จงเงยหน้าขึ้นดูฟ้าแล้วนับดวงดาว หากเจ้าสามารถนับได้” แล้วพระองค์ตรัสกับเขาว่า “เผ่าพันธุ์[d]ของเจ้าจะเป็นเช่นนั้นแหละ”

耶和华把亚伯兰带到外面，对他说：“你抬头看看天空，数数繁星，你能数得尽吗？你的后裔必这么多。”

於 是 领 他 走 到 外 边 ， 说 ： 你 向 天 观 看 ， 数 算 众 星 ， 能 数 得 过 来 麽 ？ 又 对 他 说 ： 你 的 後 裔 将 要 如 此 。

耶和華把亞伯蘭帶到外面，對他說：「你抬頭看看天空，數數繁星，你能數得盡嗎？你的後裔必這麼多。」
