Ezekiel 36:13

“Thus says the Lord God, ‘Because they say to you, “You [O land] are a devourer of people and have bereaved your nation of children,”

Thus saith the Lord God; Because they say unto you, Thou land devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations:

The Lord and King says, “People say to you mountains, ‘You destroy people. You let your nation’s children be taken away.’

“‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because some say to you, “You devour people and deprive your nation of its children,”

“This is what the Sovereign Lord says: The other nations taunt you, saying, ‘Israel is a land that devours its own people and robs them of their children!’

لأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا لَكِ: أَنْتِ مُفْتَرِسَةُ النَّاسِ وَمُثْكِلَةُ شُعُوبِكِ

Gud Herren siger: Nabolandene hånede jer ved at sige, at jeres land var så goldt, at det førte til død.
