Ezekiel 29:8

‘Therefore thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am going to bring a sword on you and cut off (destroy) both man and animal,

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee.

‘Therefore thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I will bring upon you a sword and I will cut off from you man and beast.

So the Lord and King says, “I will send Nebuchadnezzar’s sword against you. He will kill people and animals alike.

“‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will bring a sword against you and kill both man and beast.

‘“Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will bring a sword against you and kill both man and beast.

“Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will bring an army against you, O Egypt, and destroy both people and animals.

لِذَلِكَ هَا أَنَا أَجْلِبُ عَلَيْكَ سَيْفاً وَأَسْتَأْصِلُ مِنْكَ الإِنْسَانَ وَالْحَيَوَانَ،

Derfor siger Gud Herren til Egypten:Jeg sender en hær imod dig, som vil dræbe både mennesker og dyr.

Darum sage ich, Gott, der Herr: Ich sorge dafür, dass deine Feinde mit dem Schwert über dich herfallen und Mensch und Vieh in dir ausrotten.
