Ezekiel 29:10

behold (hear this), therefore, I am against you and against your rivers (the Nile, its tributaries), and I will make the land of Egypt a complete waste and a desolation, from [northern] Migdol to [southern] [a]Syene, even as far as the border of Ethiopia (Cush).

لِذَلِكَ هَا أَنَا أَنْقَلِبُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى أَنْهَارِكَ، وَأَجْعَلُ أَرَاضِي مِصْرَ خَرَائِبَ مُتَرَدِّمَةً مُقْفِرَةً، مِنْ مَجْدَلَ إِلَى أَسْوَانَ حَتَّى تُخُومِ إِثْيُوبِيَا.

Derfor straffer jeg dig og din flod, rydder landet for mennesker og dyrfra Migdol i nord til Aswan i syd ved grænsen til Kush.

Darum bekommen du und dein Fluss meine Macht zu spüren. Das ganze Land mache ich zu einem einzigen Trümmerfeld, zu einer trostlosen Wüste, von Migdol im Norden bis nach Syene im Süden und bis an die äthiopische Grenze.

それゆえわたしは、おまえとその川に向かって立ち上がり、ミグドルからセベネ、さらに南のエチオピヤとの国境に至るまで、エジプト全地を完全に滅ぼす。

그러므로 내가 너와 네 강들을 쳐서 북으로 [a]믹돌에서부터 남으로 아스완, 곧 에티오피아 국경에 이르기까지 이집트 땅을 황폐한 불모지로 만들어 버리겠다.

Omdat u zei: ‘De Nijl is van mij! Ik heb hem gemaakt!’, heb Ik Mij tegen u en uw rivier gekeerd. Daarom zal Ik het land Egypte, van Migdol tot aan Syene en tot aan de zuidelijke grens met Ethiopië, volledig verwoesten.

Därför ska jag ta itu med dig och din flod, och jag ska göra Egyptens land förhärjat och öde, från Migdol till Assuan, ända till gränsen mot Kush.
