Ezekiel 11:3

who say, ‘Is not the time near to build houses? This city is [secure just like] the pot and we are the meat [in it].’

Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.

They say to the people, ‘Is it not a good time to build houses? This city is like an iron pot. We are safe inside it like meat in a pot.[a]’

الْقَائِلُونَ: أَلَمْ يَحِنِ الْوَقْتُ لِنَبْنِيَ حُصُوناً؟ فَهَذِهِ الْمَدِينَةُ هِيَ كَالْقِدْرِ (أَيْ كَسُورٍ حَوْلَنَا) وَنَحْنُ كَاللَّحْمِ. (أَيْ كَالْمُحْتَمِينَ بِالسُّورِ).

De siger: ‚Det er ikke tiden nu at bygge huse. Jerusalem er som en gryde over ilden, og vi sidder her som kødet.’

彼らは人々に、『さあ、エルサレムを再建する時がきた。われわれの町は鉄の盾だ。どんな危害からも守ってくれる』と言っている。
