Exodus 33:5

For the Lord had said to Moses, “Say to the sons of Israel, ‘You are a stiff-necked (stubborn, rebellious) people! If I should come among you for one moment, I would destroy you. Now therefore, [penitently] take off your ornaments, so that I may know what to do with you.’”

For the Lord had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.

For the Lord had said to Moses, “Say to the sons of Israel, ‘You are [d]an obstinate people; should I go up in your midst for one moment, I would destroy you. Now therefore, put off your ornaments from you, that I may know what I shall do with you.’”

The Lord had said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites, ‘You are stubborn. If I went with you even for a moment, I might destroy you. Now take off your jewelry. Then I will decide what to do with you.’ ”

وَكَانَ الرَّبُّ قَدْ قَالَ لِمُوسَى: «قُلْ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنْتُمْ شَعْبٌ مُتَصَلِّبُ الْقَلْبِ، لِهَذَا إِنْ بَقِيتُ لَحْظَةً وَاحِدَةً فِي وَسَطِكُمْ أَفْنِيكُمْ. وَلَكِنِ الْآنَ انْزَعُوا زِينَتَكُمْ عَنْكُمْ إِلَى أَنْ أَتَّخِذَ قَرَارِي بِشَأْنِكُمْ».

Denn der Herr hatte Mose befohlen, ihnen zu sagen: »Ihr seid ein starrsinniges Volk! Wenn ich auch nur einen Augenblick mit euch käme, würde ich euch vernichten! Legt nun euren Schmuck ab, dann will ich entscheiden, was mit euch geschehen soll!«

L’Eternel avait ordonné à Moïse de dire aux Israélites : Vous êtes un peuple rebelle ; si je marchais au milieu de vous, ne fût-ce qu’un seul instant, je vous exterminerais. Otez donc vos parures et l’on verra comment je vais vous traiter.

이것은 여호와께서 모세를 통하여 이스라엘 백성에게 이렇게 말씀하셨기 때문이었다. “너희는 고집 센 백성이다. 내가 만일 잠시라도 너희와 함께 간다면 너희를 아주 없애 버릴지도 모른다. 이제 너희는 너희 장식품을 제거하라. 그래야 내가 너희를 어떻게 해야 할지 결정할 수 있을 것이다.”

耶和华对摩西说：“你去向以色列百姓宣布，‘你们这些顽固不化的人，我就是跟你们在一起待一刻，都恐怕会灭绝你们。现在你们要摘下自己身上的饰物，我再决定怎样处置你们。’”

耶 和 华 对 摩 西 说 ： 你 告 诉 以 色 列 人 说 ： 耶 和 华 说 ： 你 们 是 硬 着 颈 项 的 百 姓 ， 我 若 一 霎 时 临 到 你 们 中 间 ， 必 灭 绝 你 们 。 现 在 你 们 要 把 身 上 的 妆 饰 摘 下 来 ， 使 我 可 以 知 道 怎 样 待 你 们
