Exodus 24:8

So Moses took the blood [which had been placed in the large basins] and sprinkled it on the people, and said, “Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.”

He didn’t hurt these pillar-leaders of the Israelites: They saw God; and they ate and drank. 12-13 God said to Moses, “Climb higher up the mountain and wait there for me; I’ll give you tablets of stone, the teachings and commandments that I’ve written to instruct them.” So Moses got up, accompanied by Joshua his aide. And Moses climbed up the mountain of God.

So Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said, “Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord has [c]made with you [d]in accordance with all these words.”

摩西便把盆中的血洒在百姓身上，说：“这是立约的血，是耶和华按所说的话与你们立约的凭据。”
