Exodus 2:18

When they came to [g]Reuel (Jethro) their father, he said, “How is it that you have come back so soon today?”

And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to day?

When they got home to their father, Reuel, he said, “That didn’t take long. Why are you back so soon?”

وَعِنْدَمَا رَجَعَتِ الْفَتَيَاتُ إِلَى رَعُوئِيلَ أَبِيهِنَّ سَأَلَهُنَّ: «مَا بَالُكُنَّ بَكَّرْتُنَّ بِالرُّجُوعِ الْيَوْمَ؟»

Da pigerne kom hjem til deres far, Reuel, udbrød han: „I kommer tidligt hjem i dag! Hvordan kunne I give fårene vand så hurtigt?”

Als die Töchter wieder nach Hause zu ihrem Vater Reguël kamen, fragte er erstaunt: »Warum kommt ihr heute schon so früh zurück?«
