Exodus 14:5

When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his servants had a change of heart toward the people, and they said, “What is this that we have done? We have let Israel go from serving us!”

And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?

وَقِيلَ لِمَلِكِ مِصْرَ: «هُوَذا الشَّعْبُ قَدْ هَرَبَ». فَتَحَوَّلَ قَلْبُ فِرْعَوْنَ وَقُلُوبُ حَاشِيَتِهِ ضِدَّهُمْ، وَقَالُوا: «مَاذَا دَهَانَا حَتَّى أَطْلَقْنَا إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ خِدْمَتِنَا؟»

Da Egyptens konge fik at vide, at israelitterne ikke var kommet tilbage til den fastsatte tid, holdt han rådslagning med sine embedsmænd. De fortrød nu, at de havde ladet alle deres slaver rejse bort.

On vint informer le pharaon que le peuple d’Israël avait pris la fuite. Alors le pharaon et ses hauts fonctionnaires changèrent d’avis à leur sujet et dirent : Qu’avons-nous fait là ? En laissant partir les Israélites, nous avons perdu notre main-d’œuvre !

三日たってもイスラエル人がエジプトへは戻ろうとせず、そのまま逃げ出すつもりらしいという知らせが届くと、王と家臣たちはまた気が変わりました。「あの奴隷どもをみな逃がすとは、なんと愚かなことをしてしまったのだ。」

有人向埃及王报信，说以色列百姓逃走了。法老和他的臣仆便改变主意，说：“我们怎么可以让以色列人就这样离开我们，不再服侍我们呢？”

有 人 告 诉 埃 及 王 说 ： 百 姓 逃 跑 。 法 老 和 他 的 臣 仆 就 向 百 姓 变 心 ， 说 ： 我 们 容 以 色 列 人 去 ， 不 再 服 事 我 们 ， 这 做 的 是 甚 麽 事 呢 ？
