Exodus 14:4

I will harden (make stubborn, defiant) Pharaoh’s heart, so that he will pursue them; and I will be glorified and honored through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians shall know [without any doubt] and acknowledge that I am the Lord.” And they did so.

فَأُقَسِّي قَلْبَ فِرْعَوْنَ حَتَّى يَسْعَى وَرَاءَكُمْ فَأَتَعَظَّمُ آنَئِذٍ (بِالقَضَاءِ) عَلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَعَلَى جَيْشِهِ، وَيَعْرِفُ الْمِصْرِيُّونَ أَنِّي أَنَا الرَّبُّ». وَهَكَذَا فَعَلَ الإِسْرَائِيلِيُّونَ. فرعون يطارد بني إسرائيل

Og så vil jeg endnu en gang gøre Farao stædig, så han sætter efter jer. Sådan vil jeg få ære og herlighed på bekostning af Farao og hele hans hær, og egypterne vil indse, at jeg er Herren.”Så slog israelitterne lejr, hvor Herren havde sagt.
