Ecclesiastes 7:10

Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these?”For it is not from wisdom that you ask about this.

Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.

Don’t always be asking, “Where are the good old days?”Wise folks don’t ask questions like that. 11-12 Wisdom is better when it’s paired with money,Especially if you get both while you’re still living.Double protection: wisdom and wealth!Plus this bonus: Wisdom energizes its owner.

Do not say, “Why is it that the former days were better than these?”For it is not from wisdom that you ask about this.

لَا تَقُلْ: كَيْفَ حَدَثَ أَنَّ الأَيَّامَ الْمَاضِيَةَ كَانَتْ خَيْراً مِنْ هَذِهِ الأَيَّامِ؟ لأَنَّ سُؤَالَكَ هَذَا لَا يَنِمُّ عَنْ حِكْمَةٍ.

Lad være at sukke efter „de gode, gamle dage”, for det afslører din mangel på visdom.
