Ecclesiastes 3:18

I said to myself regarding the sons of men, “God is surely testing them in order for them to see that [by themselves, without God] they are [only] animals.”

I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

I said [g]to myself concerning the sons of men, “God has surely tested them in order for them to see that they are but beasts.”

I also said to myself, “God tests human beings. He does this so they can see that in certain ways they are like animals.

I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals.

I also said to myself, ‘As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals.

I also thought about the human condition—how God proves to people that they are like animals.

وَنَاجَيْتُ قَلْبِي أَيْضاً بِشَأْنِ أَبْنَاءِ الْبَشَرِ قَائِلاً: إِنَّمَا اللهُ يَمْتَحِنُهُمْ، لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ لَيْسُوا أَفْضَلَ مِنَ الْبَهَائِمِ،

Ich habe begriffen, dass Gott die Menschen prüft. Sie sollen erkennen: Nichts unterscheidet sie von den Tieren.

Ginatestingan sang Dios ang mga tawo agod ipakita sa ila nga pareho lang sila sa sapat.

私はまた、神が罪深い今の世界をそのままにしておくのは、人間を試すためであり、人間が獣と変わらないことを悟らせるためであることに気づきました。

나는 또 사람이 짐승과 다를 것이 없다는 것을 깨닫게 하려고 하나님이 인간을 시험하시는 사실도 알게 되었다.

En toen besefte ik dat God de wereld haar zondige gang laat gaan om de mensheid op de proef te stellen en de mensen te laten zien dat zij in feite niets beter zijn dan de dieren.

Também pensei: Deus prova os homens para que vejam que são como os animais.

E assim dei-me conta que Deus permite que o mundo continue no curso do pecado, para poder testar a humanidade e para que os próprios homens verifiquem que não são melhores do que os animais.

Apoi mi-am zis: «În ceea ce-i priveşte pe oameni, Dumnezeu îi încearcă, pentru ca ei să vadă că sunt precum animalele.

Jag sa vidare för mig själv: ”Så är det för människornas skull. Gud prövar dem, för att de ska inse att de inte är bättre än djuren.

ข้าพเจ้าคิดอีกว่า “สำหรับมนุษย์ พระเจ้าทรงทดสอบพวกเขา ก็เพื่อพวกเขาจะเห็นว่าตนเองก็เหมือนสัตว์

我又想：“至于世人，上帝试验他们，是要他们知道自己与兽类无异。

我 心 里 说 ， 这 乃 为 世 人 的 缘 故 ， 是 神 要 试 验 他 们 ， 使 他 们 觉 得 自 己 不 过 像 兽 一 样 。
