Ecclesiastes 2:24

There is nothing better for a man than to eat and drink and assure himself that there is good in his labor. Even this, I have seen, is from the hand of God.

There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.

A person can’t do anything better than eat, drink and be satisfied with their work. I’m finally seeing that those things also come from the hand of God.

So I decided there is nothing better than to enjoy food and drink and to find satisfaction in work. Then I realized that these pleasures are from the hand of God.

فَلَيْسَ أَفْضَلُ لِلإِنْسَانِ مِنْ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ وَيَشْرَبَ وَيَتَمَتَّعَ بِتَعَبِ يَدَيْهِ. وَهَذَا أَيْضاً، كَمَا أَرَى، هُوَ مِنْ يَدِ اللهِ.

Det bedste, man kan gøre, er derfor at spise og drikke og glæde sig over sit arbejde. Jeg indså, at denne glæde egentlig er en gave fra Gud.

Das Beste, was ein Mensch da tun kann, ist: essen und trinken und die Früchte seiner Arbeit genießen. Doch ich weiß: Das kann nur Gott ihm schenken!

Il n’y a rien de bon pour l’homme, sinon manger, boire et se donner du bon temps au milieu de son dur labeur. Et j’ai constaté que cela même vient de la main de Dieu[g].

Ang labing maayo nga himuon sang tawo amo ang pagkaon kag pag-inom, kag ang pagpangalipay sa iya ginpangabudlayan. Kag nareyalisar ko nga bisan ini halin sa Dios,

사람이 먹고 마시며 자기 일에 만족을 느끼는 것보다 더 좋은 것이 없으나 나는 이것도 하나님께서 주시는 것임을 깨달았다.

Daarom besloot ik dat een mens niets beters kan doen dan genieten van eten en drinken, bij al het werk dat hij doet. Toen realiseerde ik mij dat ook dat genoegen afkomstig is uit de hand van God.

Para o homem não existe nada melhor do que comer, beber e encontrar prazer em seu trabalho. E vi que isso também vem da mão de Deus.

Cheguei à conclusão que não havia nada melhor, para o ser humano, do que comer, beber e beneficiar do resultado do esforço do seu trabalho. Constatei, assim, que é Deus quem lhe oferece este prazer.

Nu există alt bine pentru om decât să mănânce, să bea şi să-şi sature sufletul cu tot ce este bun din agoniseala lui. Am înţeles că şi aceasta vine din mâna lui Dumnezeu,

Ingenting bättre återstår för en människa än att äta och dricka och finna tillfredsställelse i sin möda. Jag insåg att också detta kommer från Gud,

คนเราไม่อาจทำอะไรได้ดีไปกว่ากินดื่มและหาความอิ่มใจในงานของตน ข้าพเจ้าเห็นว่าสิ่งนี้ก็มาจากพระหัตถ์ของพระเจ้าด้วย

对人而言，没有什么比吃喝并享受劳碌之乐更好，我看这也是出自上帝的手。

人 莫 强 如 吃 喝 ， 且 在 劳 碌 中 享 福 ， 我 看 这 也 是 出 於 神 的 手 。
