Deuteronomy 9:28

so that the [people of the] land from which You brought us will not say, “Because the Lord was not capable of bringing them into the land which He had promised them and because He hated them He has brought them out to the wilderness [in order] to kill them.”

Lest the land whence thou broughtest us out say, Because the Lord was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them, and because he hated them, he hath brought them out to slay them in the wilderness.

Otherwise the land from which You brought us may say, “Because the Lord was not able to bring them into the land which He had [i]promised them and because He hated them He has brought them out to slay them in the wilderness.”

If you do, the Egyptians will say, ‘The Lord wasn’t able to take them into the land he had promised to give them. He hated them. So he brought them out of Egypt to put them to death in the desert.’

Otherwise, the country from which you brought us will say, ‘Because the Lord was not able to take them into the land he had promised them, and because he hated them, he brought them out to put them to death in the wilderness.’

لِئَلّا يَقُولَ أَهْلُ مِصْرَ الَّذِينَ أَخْرَجْتَنَا مِنْ بَيْنِهِمْ: لَقَدْ أَخْرَجَهُمُ الرَّبُّ لِيُهْلِكَهُمْ فِي الْبَرِّيَّةِ، لأَنَّهُ عَجَزَ عَنْ إِدْخَالِهِمْ إِلَى الأَرْضِ الَّتِي وَعَدَهُمْ بِها، وَلأَنَّهُ مَقَتَهُمْ.

Hvis du udrydder dem, vil egypterne jo påstå, at du ikke var i stand til at gennemføre din plan om at føre dem til det land, du havde lovet dem, eller de vil sige, at du er en ond Gud, der af had til dit folk lagde en fælde for dem i ørkenen.

Sonst werden die Ägypter behaupten: ›Der Herr konnte sie nicht in das Land bringen, das er ihnen versprochen hat. Vielleicht hat er sie auch nur aus unserem Land herausgeholt, weil er sie hasste und in der Wüste töten wollte.‹

それに、もし彼らを滅ぼしたりすれば、エジプト人たちは言うでしょう。「そうら、何てざまだ。イスラエルの神はどうにも約束の地へ連れて行けなくなって、荒野で彼らを殺してしまった。それとも彼らを嫌いだったから、初めから殺すつもりで連れ出したのかもしれない」と。

그렇지 않으면 이집트 사람들이 주께서 주의 백성을 약속의 땅으로 인도할 능력이 없고 또 그들을 미워하였기 때문에 그들을 죽이려고 광야로 끌어내었다고 말할 것입니다.

Want als U het vernietigt, zullen de Egyptenaren zeggen: ‘Hij deed dat omdat Hij niet in staat was het volk naar het land te brengen dat Hij het had beloofd’ of ‘Hij vernietigde het volk omdat Hij het haatte, Hij leidde de mensen de wildernis in om hen daar te doden.’

Annars kommer man i landet du förde oss ut ifrån att säga att du inte klarade att leda dem in i det land du lovat dem, eller att du hatade dem och därför ledde dem ut i öknen för att döda dem.

มิฉะนั้นประเทศซึ่งพระองค์ทรงนำพวกเราออกมาจะกล่าวว่า ‘เพราะองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าไม่สามารถพาพวกเขาไปยังดินแดนที่ทรงสัญญาไว้ และเพราะพระองค์ทรงเกลียดพวกเขา จึงทรงพาพวกเขาเข้าไปตายในถิ่นกันดาร’

免得你带领我们离开之地的人说，你不能把他们领到你应许给他们的地方，你憎恶他们，所以把他们带到旷野杀了。

免 得 你 领 我 们 出 来 的 那 地 之 人 说 ， 耶 和 华 因 为 不 能 将 这 百 姓 领 进 他 所 应 许 之 地 ， 又 因 恨 他 们 ， 所 以 领 他 们 出 去 ， 要 在 旷 野 杀 他 们 。

免得你帶領我們離開之地的人說，你不能把他們領到你應許給他們的地方，你憎惡他們，所以把他們帶到曠野殺了。
