Deuteronomy 8:11

“Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by failing to keep His commandments and His judgments (precepts) and His statutes which I am commanding you today;

Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:

“[c]Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not keeping His commandments and His ordinances and His statutes which I am commanding you today;

Make sure you don’t forget the Lord your God. Don’t fail to obey his commands, laws and rules. I’m giving them to you today.

“But that is the time to be careful! Beware that in your plenty you do not forget the Lord your God and disobey his commands, regulations, and decrees that I am giving you today.

إِيَّاكُمْ نِسْيَانَ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ وَإِهْمَالَ وَصَايَاهُ وَأَحْكَامِهِ وَفَرَائِضِهِ الَّتِي أُوصِيكُمُ الْيَوْمَ بِها،

しかし油断は禁物です。何の心配もないからといって気がゆるみ、あなたの神、主を忘れ、主に背くようになってはいけません。 12-14 家を持ち、羊や牛も増え、財産ができ、満ち足りるようになったときこそ危ないのです。気をつけないと、主のおかげでそうなったのに、思い上がり、エジプトでの奴隷生活から救い出されたことなど忘れてしまうのです。

“여러분은 오늘 내가 가르치는 여호와의 모든 법과 규정을 어기고 여러분의 하나님 여호와를 잊어버리지 않도록 조심하십시오.

Tenham o cuidado de não se esquecer do Senhor, o seu Deus, deixando de obedecer aos seus mandamentos, às suas ordenanças e aos seus decretos que hoje lhes ordeno.

No entanto, é nessas alturas que deverão estar mais atentos! Tenham cuidado que a vossa abundância não vos faça esquecerem-se do Senhor, vosso Deus, para virem a desobedecer-lhe.
