Deuteronomy 32:27

Had I not feared the provocation of the enemy,That their adversaries would misjudge,That they would say, “Our [own] hand has prevailed,And the Lord has not done all this.”’

Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the Lord hath not done all this.

But I was afraid their enemies would make fun of that. I was afraid their attackers would not understand.I was sure they would say, ‘We’re the ones who’ve beaten them! The Lord isn’t the one who did it.’ ”

لَوْلا خَوْفِي مِنْ تَبَجُّحِ الْعَدُوِّ، إِذْ يَظُنُّونَ قَائِلِينَ: إِنَّ يَدَنَا قَدْ عَظُمَتْ، وَلَيْسَ مَا جَرَى هُوَ مِنْ فِعْلِ الرَّبِّ.

Men så ville det lyde i fjendens lejr: ‚Det var vores magt, der gav os sejr!’

Ich tue es nur deshalb nicht,weil ihre Feinde es falsch deutenund stolz auf ihren Sieg sein könnten.Von ihnen würde keiner sagen:›Das ist allein das Werk von Gott!‹

だが、それでは敵の思うつぼだ。『われわれがイスラエルを滅ぼした。主なんかじゃない』と大言壮語させることになる。」

그들의 원수들이 오해하여나 여호와가 이렇게 한 것이 아니라자기들이 내 백성을 멸망시켰다고자랑하며 우쭐댈까 두렵구나.’

Maar toen bedacht Ik: “Mijn vijanden zullen leedvermaak hebben en zeggen: Israël is door onze kracht vernietigd! Het was niet de Here die dat deed.”

Men jag fruktade fiendens hån, att motståndarna skulle ta miste och säga: ’Det var vi och vår styrka, inte Herren som gjorde det!’ ”

แต่เราหวั่นคำถากถางของศัตรูเกรงว่าปฏิปักษ์จะเข้าใจผิดและพูดว่า ‘มือของเราพิชิตชัยชนะองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าไม่ได้ทรงทำอะไรเลย’ ”

但我不愿让敌人夸口，宣称这是他们的胜利，而非我的作为。’

惟 恐 仇 敌 惹 动 我 ， 只 怕 敌 人 错 看 ， 说 ： 是 我 们 手 的 能 力 ， 并 非 耶 和 华 所 行 的 。
