Deuteronomy 28:55

so that he will not give even one of them any of the flesh of his children [k]which he will eat, [l]because he has nothing else left, during the siege and the misery by which your enemy will oppress you in all your cities.

He will refuse to share with them the flesh he is devouring—the flesh of one of his own children—because he has nothing else to eat during the siege and terrible distress that your enemy will inflict on all your towns.

de peur d’avoir à partager avec eux la chair de ses enfants, seule nourriture dont il disposera encore, dans la détresse à laquelle vos ennemis vous auront réduits en assiégeant toutes vos villes.

Han ska vägra dem att smaka av det kött han själv äter – köttet av hans egna barn, det enda han har kvar att äta i den nöd som uppstår då fienden belägrar dina städer.
