Deuteronomy 28:56

The most refined and well-bred woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because she is so delicate and pampered, [m]will be cruel and hostile toward [n]the husband she cherishes and toward her son and daughter,

The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,

The [ao]refined and delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground for delicateness and [ap]refinement, [aq]shall be hostile toward the husband [ar]she cherishes and toward her son and daughter,

There may be a gentle and caring woman among you. She wouldn’t even touch the ground with her feet without first putting her sandals on. But she will not share anything with the husband she loves. She won’t share with her own children either.

The most gentle and sensitive woman among you—so sensitive and gentle that she would not venture to touch the ground with the sole of her foot—will begrudge the husband she loves and her own son or daughter

وَكَذَلِكَ فَإِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النِّسَاءِ رِقَّةً وَرَأْفَةً، وَالَّتِي لِنُعُومَتِهَا وَتَرَفُّهِهَا لَا تَجْرُؤُ عَلَى لَمْسِ الأَرْضِ بِبَاطِنِ قَدَمِهَا، تَبْخَلُ عَلَى زَوْجِهَا رَجُلِ حِضْنِهَا وَعَلَى ابْنِهَا وَابْنَتِهَا

que aun la más tierna y sensible de tus mujeres, tan sensible y tierna que no se atrevería a rozar el suelo con la planta de los pies, no tendrá compasión de su propio esposo al que ama, ni de sus hijos ni de sus hijas.

A mulher mais terna e mais branda, aquela que quase nem assenta os pés no chão, recusará repartir com o seu querido marido, filhos e filhas o que tem para comer.
