Deuteronomy 11:2

Know this day that I am not speaking to your children who have not known [by personal experience] and who have not seen [firsthand] the instruction and discipline of the Lord your God—His greatness, His mighty hand and His outstretched arm;

And know ye this day: for I speak not with your children which have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement of the Lord your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his stretched out arm,

Know this day that I am not speaking with your sons who have not known and who have not seen the [a]discipline of the Lord your God—His greatness, His mighty hand and His outstretched arm,

Remember today that your children weren’t the ones the Lord your God guided and corrected. They didn’t see his majesty. They weren’t in Egypt when he reached out his mighty hand and powerful arm.

Remember today that your children were not the ones who saw and experienced the discipline of the Lord your God: his majesty, his mighty hand, his outstretched arm;

Keep in mind that I am not talking now to your children, who have never experienced the discipline of the Lord your God or seen his greatness and his strong hand and powerful arm.

وَاعْلَمُوا الْيَوْمَ أَنَّ حَدِيثِي لَيْسَ مُوَجَّهاً لأَبْنَائِكُمُ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يَعْرِفُوا وَلا اخْتَبَرُوا تَأْدِيبَ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ، وَلا شَهِدُوا عَظَمَتَهُ وَقُوَّتَهُ الشَّدِيدَةَ وَقُدْرَتَهُ الْفَائِقَةَ،

Det er til jer, jeg taler, ikke til jeres efterkommere, for de har ikke som jer erfaret Herrens straf, storhed og vældige magt.

Contrairement à vos enfants qui n’en savent rien et qui n’ont pas vu tout cela, vous qui êtes là aujourd’hui, vous savez ce que l’Eternel vous a appris : sa grandeur, ses déploiements de puissance,

Luister! Ik heb het niet tegen uw kinderen, die de straffen van de Here nooit hebben ondergaan en die zijn grootheid en vreselijke macht nooit hebben gezien.
