Daniel 5:22

And you, his [h]son, O Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart (mind), even though you knew all this.

And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this;

Yet you, his [x]son, Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart, [y]even though you knew all this,

“But you knew all that, Belshazzar. After all, you are Nebuchadnezzar’s son. In spite of that, you are still proud.

“But you, Belshazzar, his son,[d] have not humbled yourself, though you knew all this.

‘But you, Belshazzar, his son,[d] have not humbled yourself, though you knew all this.

“You are his successor,[c] O Belshazzar, and you knew all this, yet you have not humbled yourself.

وَأَنْتَ يَا بَيلْشَاصَّرُ ابْنُهُ لَمْ يَتَوَاضَعْ قَلْبُكَ، مَعَ عِلْمِكَ بِكُلِّ هَذَا،

Deres Majestæt, De ved, hvad der skete med Nebukadnezar, men alligevel har De ikke ydmyget Dem for Himlens Gud!

Aber du, Belsazar, hast daraus nichts gelernt, obwohl du das alles wusstest. Du bist genauso überheblich wie er.
