Amos 8:6

So that we may buy the poor [as slaves] for silver [since they are unable to support themselves]And the [a]needy for a pair of sandals,And that we may sell the leftovers of the wheat [as if it were a good grade of grain]?”

That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?

So as to buy the helpless for [j]moneyAnd the needy for a pair of sandals,And that we may sell the refuse of the wheat?”

You buy poor people to make slaves out of them. You buy those who are in need for a mere pair of sandals. You even sell the worthless parts of your wheat.

لِنَشْتَرِيَ الْمِسْكِينَ بِقِطْعَةٍ مِنَ الْفِضَّةِ، وَالْبَائِسَ بِنَعْلَيْنِ، وَنَبِيعَ نُفَايَةَ الْقَمْحِ؟»

Bestimmt können wir sogar noch den Getreideabfall verkaufen!« Wer euch Geld schuldet, den macht ihr zum Sklaven, ja, ihr verkauft einen Armen schon, wenn er ein Paar Schuhe nicht bezahlen kann.

好 用 银 子 买 贫 寒 人 ， 用 一 双 鞋 换 穷 乏 人 ， 将 坏 了 的 麦 子 卖 给 人 。
