Amos 8:4

Hear this, you who trample down the needy, and do away with the poor of the land,

Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,

Hear this, you who [f]trample the needy, to do away with the humble of the land,

Listen to me, you who walk all over needy people. You crush those who are poor in the land.

اسْتَمِعُوا هَذَا أَيُّهَا الدَّائِسُونَ عَلَى الْبَائِسِينَ، يَا مَنْ حَاوَلْتُمْ أَنْ تَقْضُوا عَلَى فُقَرَاءِ الأَرْضِ،

Hør her, I, som tramper på de svage og udnytter de fattige. 5-6 Når det er helligdag eller sabbat, længes I efter, at dagen skal være forbi, så I kan komme til at sælge jeres korn igen. I blander avner i kornet, bruger falske vægte og snyder, så vandet driver af jer. I tager gerne et par sko i pant og sælger de fattige som slaver, når de ikke kan betale.

貧しい人から取り上げ、困っている人を踏みつける商人たち。聞きなさい。

가난한 자를 짓밟고 이 땅의 힘없는 자들을 못 살게 구는 자들아, 이 말을 들어라.

Luister, kooplieden, die de armen beroven en de hulpbehoevenden vertrappen,

Ouçam, vocês que pisam os pobres e arruínam os necessitados da terra,

Escutem, vocês os comerciantes que roubam o povo e espezinham os necessitados.

Ascultaţi aceasta, voi, care-i călcaţi în picioare pe sărmani şi-i prăpădiţi pe săracii din ţară.
