Amos 8:3

In that day, the songs of the palace shall turn to wailing,” says the Lord God. “There will be many dead bodies; in [sacred] silence they will throw them everywhere.”

And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord God: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.

“The royal singers will wail when it happens.” My Master God said so.“Corpses will be strewn here, there, and everywhere. Hush!” 4-6 Listen to this, you who walk all over the weak, you who treat poor people as less than nothing,Who say, “When’s my next paycheck coming so I can go out and live it up?How long till the weekend when I can go out and have a good time?”Who give little and take much, and never do an honest day’s work.You exploit the poor, using them— and then, when they’re used up, you discard them. 7-8 God swears against the arrogance of Jacob: “I’m keeping track of their every last sin.”God’s oath will shake earth’s foundations, dissolve the whole world into tears.God’s oath will sweep in like a river that rises, flooding houses and lands,And then recedes, leaving behind a sea of mud. 9-10 “On Judgment Day, watch out!” These are the words of God, my Master.“I’ll turn off the sun at noon. In the middle of the day the earth will go black.I’ll turn your parties into funerals and make every song you sing a dirge.Everyone will walk around in rags, with sunken eyes and bald heads.Think of the worst that could happen —your only son, say, murdered.That’s a hint of Judgment Day —that and much more. 11-12 “Oh yes, Judgment Day is coming!” These are the words of my Master God.“I’ll send a famine through the whole country. It won’t be food or water that’s lacking, but my Word.People will drift from one end of the country to the other, roam to the north, wander to the east.They’ll go anywhere, listen to anyone, hoping to hear God’s Word—but they won’t hear it. 13-14 “On Judgment Day, lovely young girls will faint of Word-thirst, robust young men will faint of God-thirst,Along with those who take oaths at the Samaria Sin-and-Sex Center, saying, ‘As the lord god of Dan is my witness!’ and ‘The lady goddess of Beer-sheba bless you!’Their lives will fall to pieces. They’ll never put it together again.”

[c]The songs of the palace will turn to wailing in that day,” declares the Lord God. “Many will be the corpses; in every place [d]they will cast them forth [e]in silence.”

“The time is coming when the songs in the temple will turn to weeping,” announces the Lord and King. “Many, many bodies will be thrown everywhere! So be quiet!”

“In that day,” declares the Sovereign Lord, “the songs in the temple will turn to wailing.[a] Many, many bodies—flung everywhere! Silence!”

In that day the singing in the temple will turn to wailing. Dead bodies will be scattered everywhere. They will be carried out of the city in silence. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!”

فَتَتَحَوَّلُ أَغَانِي قُصُورِهِمْ إِلَى عَوِيلٍ فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ، وَتَكْثُرُ الْجُثَثُ وَيَطْرَحُونَهَا فِي كُلِّ مَكَانٍ بِصَمْتٍ».

Når straffen kommer, bliver afgudstemplets[a] festsange erstattet af sørgesange, for der ligger lig overalt.” Men ingen tør gå i rette med Gud.[b]

その時、神殿から聞こえる騒々しい歌声は、すすり泣きに変わる。そこら中に死体が散らばる。無言のうちに、それは町の外へ運び出される。」主がこう言ったのです。

그 날에 궁전의 노래가 슬픈 통곡으로 변할 것이며 시체가 너무 많아 사람들이 말없이 시체를 아무 곳이나 마구 내어버릴 것이다. 이것은 나 주 여호와의 말이다.”

Dan zal het zingen in de tempel veranderen in geklaag. Overal zullen lijken liggen. In alle stilte zullen zij uit de stad worden gedragen.’

“Naquele dia”, declara o Senhor, o Soberano, “as canções no templo se tornarão lamentos.[a] Muitos, muitos serão os corpos, atirados por todos os lados! Silêncio!”

Os ruídos de cânticos devassos que se ouvem no templo tornar-se-ão em choro. Ver-se-ão cadáveres por toda a parte, que serão levados para fora da cidade, mas em silêncio!” Foi isto o que o Senhor Deus falou.

Den dagen, säger Herren, Herren, ska sångerna i palatset förvandlas till klagan. Döda kroppar ska ligga utslängda överallt. – Tystnad![a]

พระยาห์เวห์องค์เจ้าชีวิตประกาศว่า “ในวันนั้นบทเพลงต่างๆ ในพระวิหารจะเปลี่ยนเป็นเสียงร่ำไห้[a] ซากศพจะเกลื่อนกลาดอยู่ทุกแห่ง! และมีแต่ความเงียบสงัด!”

到那日，殿里的歌声要变成哀号；尸横遍地，一片死寂。这是主耶和华说的。”

主 耶 和 华 说 ： 那 日 ， 殿 中 的 诗 歌 变 为 哀 号 ； 必 有 许 多 尸 首 在 各 处 抛 弃 ， 无 人 作 声 。

到那日，殿裡的歌聲要變成哀號；屍橫遍地，一片死寂。這是主耶和華說的。」
