Amos 6:12

Do horses run on rocks?Do men plow rocks with oxen? [Of course not!]Yet you have turned justice into poisonAnd the fruit of righteousness into wormwood (bitterness),

Shall horses run upon the rock? will one plow there with oxen? for ye have turned judgment into gall, and the fruit of righteousness into hemlock:

Horses don’t run on rocky ground. People don’t plow the sea with oxen.But you have turned fair treatment into poison. You have turned the fruit of right living into bitterness.

Do horses run on the rocky crags? Does one plow the sea[b] with oxen?But you have turned justice into poison and the fruit of righteousness into bitterness—

Can horses gallop over boulders? Can oxen be used to plow them?But that’s how foolish you are when you turn justice into poison and the sweet fruit of righteousness into bitterness.

أَتَجْرِي الْخُيُولُ عَلَى الصُّخُورِ؟ وَهَلْ يُحْرَثُ الْبَحْرُ بِثِيرَانٍ؟ لَقَدْ حَوَّلْتُمُ الْحَقَّ سُمّاً زُعَافاً، وَثِمَارَ الْبِرِّ مَرَارَةً.

Lader man heste galopere på klipper? Lader man okser pløje havet? Men I har stik imod al fornuft vendt retten til uret og erstattet det gode med det onde.

Kann man etwa mit Pferden über Felsblöcke galoppieren oder mit Rindern die Felsen umpflügen? Ihr aber verwandelt das Recht in Unrecht – eure Urteile sind ein tödliches Gift!

¿Acaso galopan los caballos por las rocas o se ara en estas con bueyes?Pero vosotros habéis convertido el derecho en veneno, y en amargura el fruto de la justicia.

Makadalagan bala ang mga kabayo sa batuhon nga banglid? Makaarado bala ang baka sa dagat?[f] Siyempre indi! Pero ang hustisya ginhimo ninyo nga makahalit sa tawo,[g] kag ang matarong ginhimo ninyo nga malain.[h]

馬は岩の上を走れるでしょうか。牛は海を耕せるでしょうか。これは聞くだけ愚かなことだが、あなたがたのやっていることより愚かなことはありません。正義をあざけり、良いこと、正しいことを腐敗させ、堕落させているではありませんか。

말이 바위산에서 달릴 수 있으며 사람이 소로 그 곳을 경작할 수 있겠느냐? 그러나 너희는 정의를 독약으로, 의의 열매를 쓸개로 바꾸고

Kunnen paarden op de rotsen rennen? Kunnen runderen de zee ploegen? Dat klinkt dom, maar het is net zo dom dat u een loopje neemt met het recht en dat u alles wat goed en juist moet zijn, verzuurt en vergiftigt.

Acaso correm os cavalos sobre os rochedos?Poderá alguém ará-los com bois? Mas vocês transformaramo direito em veneno, e o fruto da justiça em amargura;

Os cavalos podem correr sobre as rochas? Os bois podem lavrar o mar? São situações absurdas. Mas é semelhante ao que vocês fizeram, que transformaram a justiça em atos desprezíveis; de tudo o que era bom e reto fizeram uma bebida amarga.

Springer hästar på klippor? Plöjer man där med oxar?[b] Ni har förvandlat rätten till gift och rättfärdighetens frukt till malört.

ม้าวิ่งบนโตรกเขาขรุขระหรือ?คนใช้วัวไถที่นั่นหรือ?แต่เจ้าก็เปลี่ยนความยุติธรรมให้เป็นยาพิษและเปลี่ยนผลแห่งความชอบธรรมให้กลายเป็นความขมขื่น

马能在悬崖上奔驰吗？牛能在海中耕作吗？你们却使公正沦为毒药，使公义之果变成苦艾。

马 岂 能 在 崖 石 上 奔 跑 ？ 人 岂 能 在 那 里 用 牛 耕 种 呢 ？ 你 们 却 使 公 平 变 为 苦 胆 ， 使 公 义 的 果 子 变 为 茵 ? 。

馬能在懸崖上奔馳嗎？牛能在海中耕作嗎？你們卻使公正淪為毒藥，使公義之果變成苦艾。
