Amos 6:10

Then one’s uncle, or his undertaker, shall come to bring the [disease-infected] body out of the house, [to cremate it], and he will say to another in the farthest part of the house, “Is there anyone else with you?” And that one will say, “No one.” Then he will respond, “Hush! Keep quiet! For the name of the Lord is not to be mentioned [even casually, for fear that we might invoke even more punishment].”

And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is there yet any with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the Lord.

Relatives might come to burn the dead bodies. If they do, they’ll have to carry them out of the house first. They might ask someone still hiding there, “Is anyone else here with you?” If the answer is no, the relatives will go on to say, “Be quiet! We must not pray in the Lord’s name.”

And if the relative who comes to carry the bodies out of the house to burn them[a] asks anyone who might be hiding there, “Is anyone else with you?” and he says, “No,” then he will go on to say, “Hush! We must not mention the name of the Lord.”

وَعِنْدَمَا يُقْبِلُ عَمُّ الْمَيْتِ الْمُشْرِفُ عَلَى إِحْرَاقِ الْجُثَثِ لِيُخْرِجَ عِظَامَهُ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ، وَيَسْأَلُ مَنْ هُوَ مُخْتَبِئٌ فِي أَقْصَى الْمَنْزِلِ: أَمَا بَقِيَ وَاحِدٌ مَعَكَ؟ فَيُجِيبُ: لا، ثُمَّ يُضِيفُ: اصْمُتْ وَلا تَذْكُرِ اسْمَ الرَّبِّ.

親戚の者が葬ることになり、死体を家から運び出す時、家の中に一人だけ生き残っている者に「ほかに残っている者がいるか」と聞くと、「いない」という答えが返ってきます。すると、「しーっ、声を出すな。主の名を口にするな。おまえの言うことを聞いているかもしれないから」と言うのです。

죽은 사람의 시체를 묻을 친척이 그 시체를 집 밖으로 가져가면서 그 집에 아직 숨어 있는 자에게 “너와 함께 있는 자가 있느냐?” 하고 물었을 때 그가 아무도 없다고 대답하면 저가 그에게 “조용히 하라! 우리가 여호와의 이름을 불러서는 안 된다” 하고 말할 것이다.
