2 Samuel 9:7

David said to him, “Do not be afraid, for I will certainly show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan, and will restore to you all the land of your grandfather Saul; and you shall always eat at my table.”

And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.

“Don’t be frightened,” said David. “I’d like to do something special for you in memory of your father Jonathan. To begin with, I’m returning to you all the properties of your grandfather Saul. Furthermore, from now on you’ll take all your meals at my table.”

David said to him, “Do not fear, for I will surely show kindness to you for the sake of your father Jonathan, and will restore to you all the [b]land of your [c]grandfather Saul; and you shall [d]eat at my table regularly.”

“Don’t be afraid,” David told him. “You can be sure that I will be kind to you because of your father Jonathan. I’ll give back to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul. And I’ll always provide what you need.”

“Don’t be afraid!” David said. “I intend to show kindness to you because of my promise to your father, Jonathan. I will give you all the property that once belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will eat here with me at the king’s table!”

فَقَالَ لَهُ دَاوُدُ: «لا تَخَفْ، فَإِنِّي مُزْمِعٌ أَنْ أُسْدِيَ إِلَيْكَ مَعْرُوفاً، إِكْرَاماً لِيُونَاثَانَ أَبِيكَ، وَأَرُدَّ لَكَ كُلَّ حُقُولِ شَاوُلَ جِدِّكَ، وَتَأْكُلَ دَائِماً مَعِي عَلَى مَائِدَتِي».

Men David sagde beroligende:„Vær ikke bange! Jeg vil behandle dig godt på grund af din far Jonatan. Du skal få al Sauls ejendom tilbage og bo her i paladset!”

Et David lui dit : N’aie aucune crainte ; car je t’assure que je veux te traiter avec faveur par amitié pour ton père Jonathan. De plus, je te rendrai toutes les terres qui appartenaient à ton grand-père Saül. Quant à toi, tu prendras tous tes repas à ma table.

大衛說：「你不用害怕，我要因為和你父親約拿單的情義而恩待你。我要把你祖父掃羅所有的田地歸還給你，你要常與我同席吃飯。」
