2 Samuel 9:3

And the king said, “Is there no longer anyone left of the house (family) of Saul to whom I may show the goodness and graciousness of God?” Ziba replied to the king, “There is still a son of Jonathan, [one] whose feet are crippled.”

And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.

The king asked, “Is there anyone left from the family of Saul to whom I can show some godly kindness?”Ziba told the king, “Yes, there is Jonathan’s son, lame in both feet.”

The king said, “Is there not yet anyone of the house of Saul to whom I may show the kindness of God?” And Ziba said to the king, “There is still a son of Jonathan who is crippled in both feet.”

The king asked, “Isn’t there anyone still alive from the royal house of Saul? God has been very kind to me. I would like to be kind to that person in the same way.”Ziba answered the king, “A son of Jonathan is still living. Both of his feet were hurt so that he can’t walk.”

The king asked, “Is there no one still alive from the house of Saul to whom I can show God’s kindness?”Ziba answered the king, “There is still a son of Jonathan; he is lame in both feet.”

The king asked, ‘Is there no one still alive from the house of Saul to whom I can show God’s kindness?’Ziba answered the king, ‘There is still a son of Jonathan; he is lame in both feet.’

The king then asked him, “Is anyone still alive from Saul’s family? If so, I want to show God’s kindness to them.”Ziba replied, “Yes, one of Jonathan’s sons is still alive. He is crippled in both feet.”

فَأَجَابَ: «أَنَا هُوَ عَبْدُكَ». فَقَالَ الْمَلِكُ: «أَلَمْ يَبْقَ أَحَدٌ بَعْدُ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ شَاوُلَ فَأُحْسِنَ إِلَيْهِ؟» فَقَالَ صِيبَا لِلْمَلِكِ: «بَقِيَ ابْنٌ لِيُونَاثَانَ أَعْرَجُ الرِّجْلَيْنِ».

Kongen fortsatte: „Er der ikke nogen tilbage af Sauls efterkommere, som jeg kan vise godhed og derved indfri et løfte, jeg har givet for Guds ansigt?”„Jo, det er der,” svarede Ziba, „der er en søn af Jonatan, men han er lam i benene.”

Kungen frågade då: ”Finns det inte någon ur Sauls familj kvar som jag på något sätt skulle kunna visa Guds nåd?” ”Jo”, svarade Siva. ”En av Jonatans söner lever fortfarande, en som är förlamad i fötterna.[a]”
