2 Samuel 17:6

When Hushai came to Absalom, Absalom said to him, “Ahithophel has advised this [plan of action]. Should we do what he says? If not, you speak [and explain why not].”

And when Hushai was come to Absalom, Absalom spake unto him, saying, Ahithophel hath spoken after this manner: shall we do after his saying? if not; speak thou.

So Hushai came and Absalom put it to him, “This is what Ahithophel advised. Should we do it? What do you say?” 7-10 Hushai said, “The counsel that Ahithophel has given in this instance is not good. You know your father and his men, brave and bitterly angry—like a bear robbed of her cubs. And your father is an experienced fighter; you can be sure he won’t be caught napping at a time like this. Even while we’re talking, he’s probably holed up in some cave or other. If he jumps your men from ambush, word will soon get back, ‘A slaughter of Absalom’s army!’ Even if your men are valiant with hearts of lions, they’ll fall apart at such news, for everyone in Israel knows the kind of fighting stuff your father’s made of, and also the men with him. 11-13 “Here’s what I’d advise: Muster the whole country, from Dan to Beersheba, an army like the sand of the sea, and you personally lead them. We’ll smoke him out wherever he is, fall on him like dew falls on the earth, and, believe me, there won’t be a single survivor. If he hides out in a city, then the whole army will bring ropes to that city and pull it down and into a gully—not so much as a pebble left of it!”

When Hushai had come to Absalom, Absalom said to [e]him, “Ahithophel has spoken [f]thus. Shall we [g]carry out his plan? If not, you speak.”

Hushai came to him. Absalom said, “Ahithophel has given us his advice. Should we do what he says? If we shouldn’t, tell us what you would do.”

When Hushai arrived, Absalom told him what Ahithophel had said. Then he asked, “What is your opinion? Should we follow Ahithophel’s advice? If not, what do you suggest?”

فَلَمَّا أَقْبَلَ حُوشَايُ أَطْلَعَهُ أَبْشَالُومُ عَلَى رَأْيِ أَخِيتُوفَلَ ثُمَّ سَأَلَهُ: «أَنَعْمَلُ بِرَأْيِهِ أَمْ لا؟ تَكَلَّمْ أَنْتَ».

Da Hushaj ankom, forklarede Absalom ham Ahitofels plan og spurgte: „Hvad mener du? Skal vi følge Ahitofels forslag? Sig frem!”

후새가 도착했을 때 압살롬은 그에게 아히도벨의조언을설명하며 “당신의 생각은 어떻소? 만일 아히도벨의 생각 이 틀렸다면 당신의 의견을 한번 말해 보시오” 하였다.

Toen Husai verscheen, vertelde Absalom hem wat Achitofel had voorgesteld. ‘Wat denkt u ervan?’ vroeg Absalom. ‘Moeten wij Achitofels raad opvolgen? Als u het er niet mee eens bent, zeg het dan.’

Quando Husai entrou, Absalão lhe disse: “Aitofel deu-nos o conselho dele. Devemos fazer o que ele diz, ou você tem outra opinião?”

När Hushaj kom dit, berättade Absalom för honom vad Achitofel hade sagt. ”Vad är din åsikt?” frågade Absalom. ”Ska vi följa Achitofels råd? Om du inte håller med, så säg det!”

เมื่อหุชัยมาถึง อับซาโลมก็กล่าวว่า “อาหิโธเฟลได้ให้คำแนะนำอย่างนี้ เราควรจะทำตามที่เขาพูดหรือไม่? ถ้าไม่ จงให้คำแนะนำแก่เรา”

户筛来了，押沙龙就把亚希多弗的建议告诉他，问他：“我们应该照亚希多弗的提议去做吗？如果不可行，说说你的看法吧。”

户 筛 到 了 押 沙 龙 面 前 ， 押 沙 龙 向 他 说 ： 亚 希 多 弗 是 如 此 如 此 说 的 ， 我 们 照 着 他 的 话 行 可 以 不 可 以 ？ 若 不 可 ， 你 就 说 罢 ！

戶篩來了，押沙龍就把亞希多弗的建議告訴他，問他：「我們應該照亞希多弗的提議去做嗎？如果不可行，說說你的看法吧。」
